00:51They were at their hotel taking pictures of the buses in Memphis Friday night when they landed.

01:36and a lot of really good people that helped me through some really hard times.

01:46of embrace it, and it was just a little bit, I don't know, sometimes you can't predict

01:51You know, I know that sometimes I don't act like it, but I'm a human too, you know.

02:00Now, he's getting criticized a little bit by saying, dude, don't pretend you had a human

02:09Listen, it had to be weird to walk in that stadium and everything that you've done and
02:14walk in there and you go to the other locker room.

02:20However, however, I read a couple articles, I think it was the New York Times or Wall Street

02:26I read it in the Alabama or one of the Ole Miss sites that reviewed that Lane Kiffin went
02:35scorched earth on Ole Miss when they told him he couldn't coach in the playoffs.

02:39Tried to grab every one of their best players.
02:41That's where it got sad.
02:43That's why people don't want to hear that.
02:45Because Lane Kiffin wanted to burn them to the ground, take their coaches, take their
02:50players, do everything possible.
02:53They had to set up.
02:56They talked to a guy that had a connection to the FBI, and they bugged all these different
03:01rooms within the Ole Miss football facility because they wanted to be able to track what
03:06some of these coaches.
03:07They didn't know.
03:08Like one of the coaches said, we had four different text chains.
03:11There were text chains of guys we knew were headed to LSU, and there were guys that we
03:16knew were staying.
03:17And that's what those weeks were like.
03:19And then they somehow pull it together and go beat Georgia because of Trinidad Shambles.
03:22But that's why people don't want to hear that.
03:24Because Lane Kiffin didn't just leave.
03:26He wanted to leave them.
03:28By the way, they raised like $24 million the year before Lane Kiffin when he was there.
03:34When Lane Kiffin went to LSU, they called every one of their biggest boosters.
03:39They got $40 million on the books within a week.
03:42It's the biggest fundraiser.
03:43And they said, our program is in dire straits.
03:47He's about to strip us down.
03:49Do you want to go back to what we were?
03:51And they raised double the money.
03:53That's why people don't want to hear about his emotions.
03:55Well, and also the Trinidad Shambles and Kewan Lacy, he went after both of them.

04:07I mean, listen, both of those guys probably still want to be at Ole Miss, but you have

04:14But Ole Miss did what they had to do to make sure that two superstars didn't walk out

09:47He goes to a hangar in Knoxville to keep that kid from getting on a plane to Miami.
