00:05as the migration crisis continues to dominate the country's political agenda.
00:10The funding is aimed at protecting jobs, supporting businesses,
00:14strengthening security and maintaining public services.
00:17More than 90 million euro will go towards defence and national security forces
00:22while 118 million euro will fund humanitarian care for unaccompanied migrant minors.
00:30Another 80 million euro will provide direct support for businesses,
00:34consumer and tourism vouchers, trade incentives and tax relief.
00:38The package comes as political tensions grow ahead of demonstrations
00:42in the autonomous city on the North African coast on September 2.
00:47The city's president, Juan Jesus Vivas, has called for national unity
00:51and described the crisis as an attack on SOTO's territorial integrity.
00:56The demonstrations have divided the governing PSOE,
00:59with some party members planning to attend
01:01while Podemos has organised a separate anti-racism rally in Madrid.
01:06The government says a solution requires institutional cooperation
01:10rather than political confrontation.
