00:00I am monitoring the storm surge here on the backside of Tropical Storm at Warr.
00:05You can see that it's coming up to the seawall here in Cameron Parish right now.
00:10Waves above waves and we have persistent strong onshore flow.
00:14The tide is going to start coming up and that could lead to some overwash on some of the roads
00:20here in Cameron Parish.
00:22You can see the classic onshore flow.
00:24Postal flooding situation, I think this will be about 1 to 3 feet, maybe up to 4 feet in spots.
00:31So sometimes the storm surge will lag a little bit outside of the eyewall with these tropical storms, the weaker
00:38tropical cyclones.
00:39And that's because the persistent onshore flow is lagging a little bit behind the tropical cyclones.
00:45So we are going to continue to monitor this area from Holly Beach all the way to Calcasieu Channel near
00:51Cameron.
00:52And we are going to see if this onshore flow is impinging on any of the roads here in Cameron
00:58Parish, Louisiana.
00:59So far the dry air has come in on the backside here of Tropical Storm at Warr.
01:05The very angry seas out here starting to impinge on the very storm surge road post on Cameron Parish.
