00:00The verdict reads as follows. We, the jury in the above entitled case, find the defendant, Dwayne Keith Davis, as
00:05follows.
00:06Count one, murder with use of a deadly weapon. Guilty of first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon,
00:10dated this 31st date of August 2026.
00:14Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, is this your verdict as read? So say you won, so say you will?
00:18Yes.
00:20Does either party desire to have the jury pulled?
00:22Yes, Your Honor.
00:23Okay, please.
00:30For nearly 18 years, Dwayne Davis has told the police, television, books, YouTube interviewers, anybody that will listen, he has
00:46told them.
00:47He is responsible for the murder of Tupac Shakur.
00:51Tell him you hear him.
00:54Find him guilty.
00:56When?
00:57How?
00:58We don't have any evidence, and this is based upon their search.
01:01The evidence alone, just on this, would indicate to you that Mr. Davis is not telling you the truth, or
01:09in the alternative, he's not telling you a fact, he's telling you fiction, as to how this all goes down
01:15on the night of September 10, 1996.
01:18Unless it be by order of the court, except to ask them whether they have agreed upon a verdict, and
01:23that you will return them.
01:24And what facts do you have to show that that man was even in Las Vegas on the night of
01:28the shooting of Tupac Shakur?
01:30Or in the vehicle?
01:34When you go back and deliberate, we are confident we're going to come back with a verdict of not guilty
01:42for Mr. Davis, because it's the only verdict that makes sense in this case.
01:47And Dwayne Davis, in the culture of gangs, could not let that stand.
01:53So what did he do?
01:54He acquired a firearm, got his group together, and went hunting for Mr. Shakur and Mr. Knight.
02:01They went to Club 662, they didn't find him.
02:05They go to a liquor store, decide to have some drinks.
02:08Then, in happenstance, they happen to run into Tupac and Shukkai, going the opposite way of the linko.
02:16And in that moment, a decision was made.
02:19Not to keep going, but to make a U-turn.
02:22Turn around, pass a gun, and shoot into Tupac and Shukkai's car.
02:29Killing Tupac Shakur.
02:35You folks got all that from the judge.
02:38So, when you have the shot caller sitting shotgun, as shots are fired, there can be no doubt that Mr.
02:49Davis is liable for that murder, is responsible for that murder, and frankly coordinating that murder.
03:02We now have Mr. Davis.
03:05And then after the fight, Tupac Shakur, Shukkai, and the people that are here with, they leave.
03:12And among his group is Trayvon Lane.
03:18And that is why, despite a curse, Trayvon Lane and the death row group sees Orlando Anderson standing by himself,
03:28and they decide to attack him in retribution for what happened at the Lakewood Mall.
03:33You'll see Orlando Anderson is on the bottom of that group.
03:37You see security coming, trying to break this up.
03:41And then you'll see Tupac Shakur, Shukkai, Shukkai, Trayvon Lane, and that group exit the MGM Grand.
03:49Mr. Shakur, Mr. Knight, and his group leave the MGM Grand.
03:59Dwayne Davis decides he is going to organize a retaliation, that this beating cannot go unanswered.
04:06Then he runs into a person named Zip Martin.
04:09Remember the Zip Martin?
04:10That was the connection with Bad Boy Entertainment from New York.
04:14And Zip Martin tells him that he has a gun, and that he can come help him out.
04:20And Dwayne Davis himself, KVD, is in the front passenger side.
04:26And this is how Dwayne Davis explains the murder of Tupac Shakur.
04:32So you were fitting a class if you had to, or you were just...
04:35You were going to watch that over.
04:37Okay.
04:38So you hand the gun to the back seat?
04:40Yeah.
04:41You can hear my name?
04:42I can't drink, but he's like, no, no, no, no.
04:45And I'm like, dude, fuck you.
04:49Dwayne Davis has repeatedly told us, over and over again, about the anger he felt,
04:54and his own role in the revenge drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur.
05:00And now, nearly 30 years later, we're going to ask you to finally hold Dwayne Davis accountable.
05:12There's no evidence at all that that man was aiming at the fight.
05:20When we take back the verses of Tupac Shakur, really, at the end of the day, what you're going to
05:25hear from witnesses that will testify to this,
05:27is that KVD was known to do this.
05:33That's the testimony you're going to hear in this case.
05:36That's what you're going to hear about that man right there.
05:39And so you have to ask yourself the question.
05:42If I just say things, is that going to end up being one of those things where I'm going to
05:47be headed up for a murder if I just keep repeating that fiction?
05:50If I keep repeating that?
05:53The answer is no.
05:54You have to corroborate everything I say in order for it to be true.
05:58Otherwise, it's just that.
06:01Orphex.
06:02And at the end of all the time we've spent together, what you're going to find is that the state
06:07cannot prove to you beyond reasonable doubt the claim that KVD wasn't had anything to do with a first-degree
06:12murder with use of W.
06:19I know everybody that was there.
06:22Okay.
06:22Like who?
06:27Talk to your lawyer, man.
06:28This dude is tripping.
06:31I'm not going to explain that.
06:32I can't answer that.
06:34I don't.
06:36And what I explain to them, I don't want to send them to prison.
06:39Sure.
06:40Even though we don't like each other.
06:42Sure.
06:42I don't want to send you to prison.
06:46Which ones, which of those four is it when you talk to them about murdering Tupac?
06:53It was really about both of them.
06:55It was Tupac and Suge, you mean?
06:59Yeah.
