00:09They don't trust the whole judge situation.
00:11And the Yankees, the way they look at something like this, like this season,
00:17is completely different than what the fan base looks at it as.
00:20And I don't know if either one of them are wrong, but it's a huge disconnect,
00:24meaning that if you're Brian Cashman, you're like, for God's sakes,
00:27look at all these guys that we were missing out of the lineup.
00:30And we're still able to do this.
00:31We're still right there.
00:32I mean, maybe they end up winning the division, maybe not.
00:35But we still made the playoffs, won X amount of games, and had all these challenges
00:40and didn't do anything even in the offseason.
00:42It brought these guys back and were able to do it without the best hitter in baseball.
00:47And then the fans are like, well, hell, man.
00:50Like, this is the same thing every single year, regardless of what the excuse is.
00:54You get to a certain level, and then you don't get past that level,
00:58and you haven't won a World Series since 2009.
01:01So the word that I think that the fan base wants that the Yankees never really do
01:08are consequences.
01:10There are no consequences for what is perceived from the Yankee fans' eyes as failings.
01:17And the examples are Aaron Boone, Brian Cashman, and all of the millions, it feels like,
01:25of young players that they have hung on to way too long.
01:29I mean, the best example I could give you recently is Anthony Volpe going down to AAA.
01:33That's like the best example I could give you in the last I don't know how many years.
01:37Yeah.
01:37You know, whether it was Aaron Hicks hanging around too long, or Gary Sanchez hanging around
01:42too long, or even though Gleyber Torres was a trade, but him hanging around too long.
01:47Like, there just doesn't feel like when they come up short, there's enough consequences
01:52and things that shake up the team to get over the hump.
01:55And I think that is where the frustration lies with the Yankee fan more than anything.
