00:00New York Giants lost out on a golden opportunity this morning as the Tennessee Titans have gotten
00:06rid of their best defensive player, Simmons. He goes to Chicago for not one, but two first-round
00:14draft picks. I guess you don't want to win a Super Bowl. Good afternoon, Big Mac. How are you?
00:19I'm doing well, Craig. How are you?
00:21I guess just winning a couple regular season games is enough for this franchise.
00:25No, okay, look.
00:25They're not in the same place as the Bears.
00:28Why not? Where did the Bears won?
00:30They have Caleb Williams. They were in the playoffs last year.
00:32They're a better team, and look at this. Two first-round picks.
00:36Two.
00:36He's the first defensive tackle to go for two first-round picks in the modern age of football.
00:41Would he have made the Giants a better team today?
00:42Yes, he would have made the Giants.
00:43Well, then he should have did it.
00:44But they've made him a better franchise missing two first-round picks.
00:47Sorry, not sorry.
00:48Okay.
00:50If this is what the market is going to dictate, then the Giants aren't going to be as aggressive as
00:54we think.
00:55I guess you're not going to win a Super Bowl.
00:56That's a crazy trade.
00:57Seems to me like if I'm the New York Giants and I have a chance to win a Super Bowl,
01:00I do whatever I've got to do.
01:01You don't think the Bears are in a different position?
01:03They have Caleb Williams. The Giants have J.J. McCarthy.
01:05How about this? How about this, if I may?
01:07If I may?
01:07They're not in the same boat.
01:09A year from now, a healthy Jackson Dart, more building, more first-round picks.
01:13There's a time and place where I'd be willing to give up two first-round picks for a D-tackle.
01:18It ain't today.
01:19No?
01:19No.
01:20Huh.
01:20I thought the goal was to try to win.
01:22I apologize.
01:22The goal was to try to paint.
