00:21or a big pile of bricks.
00:22My name is Red,
00:23and as a lifelong PlayStation gamer,
00:25it is my greatest honor
00:26to share with you
00:27something special
00:28that is celebrating
00:29the original PlayStation's
00:30iconic 1994 design.
00:33Play, as a LEGO designer,
00:35means to me creativity,
00:36imagination,
00:37and a lot of fun.
00:38When designing this set,
00:39we try to add a lot of play into it.
00:41We have the opening button,
00:43we have the light,
00:44and of course,
00:44we have the drawers
00:45with all the easter eggs inside as well.
00:47In the 1911 bricks of the set,
00:50some of them are dedicated
00:51to two dioramas
00:52inside the PlayStation.
00:54One is representing Gran Turismo,
00:56and the other one,
00:57Ape Escape.
00:58Both of them are full of details
00:59for the fans to see.
01:00The most important thing to get right
01:02when we created the console
01:03was the dimension,
01:04the real feel of the console
01:06back in the day in 1994.
01:08The theme around the design
01:09of the PlayStation
01:10is super passionate about gaming.
01:12It was super challenging
01:13for Isaac to reproduce
01:14all the right dimensions,
01:15especially on the controller
01:16for it to feel right,
01:18but he did an amazing effort around it.
01:21This set is a love letter
01:22from one community of creators
01:23to another,
01:24and we hope you enjoyed
01:25building this set as much
01:26as we enjoy creating it.
