00:04the one thing that is clear is that our Minneapolis police officers acted with
00:11incredible bravery and courage upon entering the building it was apparent
00:17that this was an active shooting they rescued victims brought people to safety
00:23helped get approximately four people to the hospital all while getting shot at
00:28themselves two officers were hit by gunfire one in the leg the other with
00:36two bullets to the abdomen but for their heroic work the death toll would have
00:42been far higher I'm truly sickened by this level of violence that feeling is
00:47tempered only by the courageous actions of the Minneapolis police officers who
00:50responded without hesitation confronted an extraordinary
00:54extraordinarily dangerous situation and work to end the violence and restore
01:01safety this is a tremendously tragic event and our thoughts and prayers are with
01:06the families and the loved ones of those who lost their lives with those who were
01:11injured and with the injured officers and their families
