00:12I've been lucky enough to own for the last 16 years and so we were invited by Porsche Motorsports
00:20to bring this car over for it to then play a role in the 75th anniversary celebrations of
00:27Porsche Motorsports which this car was of course the first factory race car for Porsche that competed
00:34in 1951 Le Mans my name is Rod Emery I'm here from Los Angeles California I own a company Emery
00:41Motorsports where we build restore and race Porsche 356 is really the most significant car that I've
00:47ever had a chance to discover and restore is the 356 SL behind me it was a multi-year restoration
00:54project for me and really the you know the feather in my cap the car I'm most proud of when
01:00we got
01:01the car in 2010 I stripped all the paint off the car and really just dug deep into the car
01:07to see
01:08what type of you know clues we could find and the owner Cameron Healy and I decided that that it
01:16was
01:16worth taking this car and disassembling it digging into it deep so that we could determine what the
01:22true history of it was this is incredible to be here for the 75th celebration of Porsche Motorsports the car
01:34was welcome like royalty it was really well well received
