00:00Donald Trump has declared victory over Iran so many times that even his most loyal followers
00:04have lost count. 58 times he has stood before cameras, pounded podiums and proclaimed that
00:10the Iranian military has been destroyed, that the Iranian navy has been sent to the bottom of the
00:17sea, that the Islamic Republic is on its knees. And yet here we are in September of 2026 and Iran
00:24is not just standing, it is firing missiles across four countries in the Gulf, hitting American bases
00:30in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain and beyond, with a precision and ferocity that has left the Pentagon
00:36scrambling for answers. The Washington Post, through satellite imagery analysis, has identified at least
00:42228 structures or pieces of military equipment damaged or destroyed across 15 American military
00:48bases in the Gulf region. CNN later elevated that number to 16 bases damaged across eight
00:55countries, with some of them rendered practically unusable. This is not a defeated enemy. This is
01:02an enemy that has turned the tables and is now dictating the terms of engagement. And then there
01:06is the Strait of Hormuz. Oh, the Strait of Hormuz. Trump, in what can only be described as a fit
01:14of
01:14delusional grandeur, took to his truth social platform and suggested renaming this critical
01:21waterway, through which 20% of the world's oil passes, to Trump Strait. He claimed, with a straight
01:28face, that the United States has it under control. The White House even posted a map with the waterway
01:33marked Trump Strait. But let me tell you what is actually happening on the ground, because the
01:38contrast between Trump's fantasy and reality could not be more stark. Iran has effectively shut
01:44down the Strait of Hormuz. Not through diplomatic posturing, not through threats, but through the
01:49cold, hard logic of naval mines that have turned the waterway into a death trap for any vessel that
01:57dares to challenge Iranian sovereignty. Just today, a ship struck naval mines in those waters and exploded.
02:04Reports reaching us indicate that at least two sailors were killed. This is not control. This is chaos.
02:13This is the nightmare that the Pentagon has been dreading, and it has now begun in earnest.
02:18We now control the Hormuz Strait, and we have many boats going through that every day,
02:25every night. Many, many boats loaded up with oil. They don't have a navy. They don't have an air force.
02:30They don't have any aircraft. Anything having to do with aircraft or ships, they're all at the bottom of
02:36the sea or at the bottom of a runway. Their leaders are gone. All of their technology is gone. Their
02:43weapons are
02:44largely gone. Other than that, they're doing quite well. Their economy is totally shot. Their economy is
02:51the worst anywhere in the world, they said this morning. They have close to 300 percent inflation.
02:57Their money is valueless. We're doing that not for any other reason. I mean,
03:02or at least 99 percent. We're doing it to help the Middle East. We're doing it to help Israel. We're
03:06doing
03:07it to help ourselves, because after they annihilate Israel, which they would have done very gladly,
03:12and then the Middle East, then they come after Europe, and they come after some of our cities
03:16before we put them away. Because it could take out a couple of cities before we put them, we would
03:21put
03:21them away. But we're doing really well with Iran. Before I take you deeper into the heart of this

04:13that mighty symbol of American naval power, has just docked in Thailand after 286 days at sea. 286 days.
04:22That is not a deployment. That is an endurance test that borders on cruelty. The carrier spent
04:29nearly seven months in Middle East combat and blockade operations tied to regional conflicts.
04:34And when it finally pulled into lamb shebang, the world got a glimpse of what this war has done to
04:39the
04:39men and women forced to fight it. The hull of the Lincoln is covered in running rust and algae.
04:45It looks like it has been through hell. And that is because it has. Sailors have reported shortages
04:51of food and drinking water. Mental health is deteriorating. There have been reports of attempted
04:58suicides. Democratic lawmakers have called for an investigation into conditions on board. And what
05:04did Trump say about this? He said the Lincoln's record setting deployment was not nearly long enough.
05:09Not nearly long enough. That is the man in charge. That is the man who claims victory while his troops
05:16are breaking down, physically and mentally, in a war that has no end in sight. And let us talk about
05:22the
05:22Pentagon itself because the chaos there is reaching a fever pitch. Resignations are piling up like bodies
05:27on a battlefield. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has submitted his resignation amid months of tensions with
05:33Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. This is just the latest in a high-profile exodus at the Pentagon under
05:40Hegseth's tenure. In early April, the U.S. Army Chief of Staff, General Randy George, resigned in the midst of
05:47the war. The former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Jeffrey Cruz, was fired after producing an
05:54assessment of Iran strikes that reportedly angered Trump. This is not a functioning military establishment.
06:00This is a ship taking on water and the crew is jumping overboard. The Iranian adventure, as some
06:07analysts have called it, has exposed deep divisions within the U.S. administration and has thrown the
06:12military institution into a state of chaos. The Pentagon is in turmoil and the nightmare has only just begun.
06:20Now, let us talk about the CIA because their story is perhaps the most embarrassing of all. The agency,
06:25along with its occupation counterparts, grossly miscalculated Iran's resilience. They failed to
06:31predict the durability of the Iranian nation. Their sabotage operations inside Iran have failed
06:36spectacularly. They could not detect the leadership trajectory of the Islamic Republic. They could not
06:42anticipate how Iran would manage, under tight notice, to keep the Strait of Hormuz shut even without its
06:49control tower. Which, by the way, was decimated by U.S. warplanes. They could not foresee that Iran's
06:55coastal defenses and radar targets, despite being subjected to multiple destructions, would still
07:01function well enough to maintain a stranglehold on the world's most important waterway. This represents
07:06an intelligence collapse on a grand scale. The CIA and Mossad are now busy blaming each other for
07:11deceptive reporting and operational failures. But the broader truth is that both agencies failed,
07:17and they failed miserably. The Iranian leadership outsmarted them at every turn, and the United
07:23States is now paying the price for that arrogance. I'm the last person to ask about getting rid of
07:28army generals. I would probably toss about half of them on the trash, given the capability. But you've
07:35brought up some very salient issues, and let me just go through a few of them. One, we got rid
07:42of the
07:42chief of staff of the army. He's a senate-confirmed four-star general. We don't have a senate-confirmed
07:49general in charge of the army. He got rid of the dis-ops, the deputy chief of staff for operations,
07:56the most important officer on the army staff. So we don't have anybody there. He got rid of the
08:03general who commanded the army troops in Europe under the SACUR U.S. EUCOM commander, Air Force
08:10General Grinkiewicz. So we don't have a senate-confirmed general there. We've destroyed the whole
08:18chain of command in some respects with regard to people who are senate-confirmed and therefore
08:25in the position for the duration, if you will, unless they really screw up. That's not a good thing to
08:32be doing. I jotted down some other things that he had done, too. There are fewer general officers
08:38right now than we've had in a long, long time. As I said, I wouldn't be one to object to
08:44that
08:44in a general sense. But the ones he's gotten rid of, as I just pointed out, are quite important
08:51generals. I wouldn't want to be Grinkiewicz looking at what Putin might do, for example, in Europe with
08:57respect to NATO forces, which he commands as SACUR without an army head. And he doesn't have one.
09:06At least he doesn't have one that's established and should be there. The other thing that I think
09:12we're looking at here that got Driscoll angry is what he was doing with regard to the army transfer
09:21transformation initiative. He was working especially on getting the Congress, and he needed to beat them
09:28up about the head and ears to do this, to get this business of proprietary maintenance out of contracts.
09:35Look at the F-35 now. That's the most glaring example. The F-35 has not got an operational ready
09:42rate
09:43in any of its models, most expensive airplane in history of over 50%, which means 50% of the time
09:51it's on the ground being maintained. Well, a lot of that maintenance is proprietary for Lockheed Martin
09:57and its subs. So that means the military can't do it. So Lockheed Martin and its subs make a fortune
10:03off this airplane, even after it's acquired and in the military, because they have proprietary
10:10maintenance policies. Driscoll wanted to change this. He wanted to get that out of the system.
10:18He wanted Congress to pass laws to get it out of the system. So he was doing a lot of
10:22good things,
10:24and they got rid of him. And let me go to one other thing. This is something I've been working
10:29on for about a decade plus. General Leitch, Dennis Leitch and I, 35-year veteran of the U.S. Army
10:37Reserves, formed something called the All Volunteer Force Forum about 11, 12 years ago. And we've been
10:43all over the country explaining to the American people what it means to have a volunteer military
10:49and to have one that cannot recruit adequate numbers of troops. And one of the things Hexeth has
10:55done to lie about recruiting is he started taking mental category force. Now, that means think
11:02McNamara is 100,000 if you want. That was a disaster for Vietnam. It's going to be a disaster
11:09this time if the Army gets into any kind of real combat. How did Hexeth do this? The Congress put
11:15a
11:15cap on mental category force, only 4%. Hexeth took in 11% mental category force in the Army. When the
11:24IG reported
11:25to Congress on it, they got angry. So he simply said, I got the school of the soldier. What the
11:32school of the soldier does is take these category fours, teach them the entrance exam for the Army,
11:40retest them, and upgrade them to category three. So that's how Hexeth got around that one. Meanwhile,
11:46what we have in the Army is 10 to 11% mental category force. That's one out of every 10
11:51soldiers.
11:52So Hexeth has been a disaster for the Army. And then there is Benjamin Netanyahu.
11:58Oh, where do I even begin with this war criminal? He has declared publicly and repeatedly that the
12:05government of Iran will be brought down by the occupation forces. He has spent years threatening
12:10Iran, grandstanding at the United Nations, publishing dubious intelligence, and pressuring American
12:18presidents to join his war. And what has he achieved? Absolutely nothing. In fact, he has achieved the
12:23opposite. Now he does photo ops in Gaza ruins in the midst of an election. Iran has unleashed one of
12:30its biggest operations over the skies of Tel Aviv and all of occupied Palestine. Netanyahu ran for his
12:36life. He begged for a ceasefire after Iran changed the tone of the music that he started back in February.
12:43The ceasefire that was negotiated, reportedly without the occupation's involvement, has left
12:49Netanyahu exposed as the paper tiger that he has always been. The Guardian has analyzed that this war
12:55has no winner, but if there is a loser, it is Netanyahu. He bet everything on bringing down Iran,
13:01and he lost. The Iranian state endures, battered but unbowed. And Netanyahu, the self-proclaimed Mr.
13:09Security, is now facing a political nightmare from which there may be no escape. Let me take you back
13:14to the Strait of Hormuz because this is where the real story is. This is where the nightmare for the
13:19Pentagon truly began. Iran's military leadership has now declared that the Islamic Republic exercises
13:26full and unchallenged control over the Strait of Hormuz. This is not a claim. This is a fact.
13:32Mines have been laid and they are the ultimate deterrent. As one analysis put it,
13:37more than the missile and drone launches targeting tankers, it is the mines that guarantee Iranian
13:43control over the Strait. For months, Iran has maintained that because the Strait was mined,
13:48and because even for the Iranian military it was difficult to pinpoint the exact location of the
13:53mines, it was necessary to traverse Hormuz through a corridor that passes very close to the Iranian coast.
13:59This corridor gives Iran full control over who enters and who exits. The United States has been
14:05trying for months to remove these mines and free the Strait. Trump even claimed last week that the U.S.
14:10had removed or detonated all mines in international waters. But the reality, as we have seen with the
14:17ship that hit mines just today, is that the Yiyans are still there and Iran is still in control.
14:24Now, let me bring in Commander Javani because what he said today should send shivers down the spines of
14:30every Arab leader who is hosting American forces. Javani has addressed Arab countries directly,
14:35demanding that they either expel American forces or face a crushing military response.
14:40It is better to expel the Americans from your countries and take back the bases,
14:44he said. He specifically named Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan as potential targets for retaliation.
14:51This is not a bluff. Iran's military has proven that it can reach any point, whether it is Kuwait,
14:57Bahrain, or Jordan. Any location used for American operations will face firm and decisive responses.
15:04The warning could not be clearer. The Arab countries of the Gulf have a choice. Continue to host American
15:11forces and risk becoming targets, or expel the Americans and take back control of their own
15:18sovereignty. The clock is ticking and the decision they make will shape the future of the region for
15:23decades to come. And then there is the Netherlands. In a move that has sent shockwaves through the
15:29global financial system, the Dutch central bank has moved 86 tons of its gold stock, worth approximately
15:3512 billion dollars, out of the United States and Canada. The bank cited increasing geopolitical unrest
15:41and Trump's unpredictability over the Iran war as the reasons for this unprecedented move.
15:47Senior officials warned that the gold was no longer safe in Trump's hands. Let that sink in for a
15:53moment. A major European nation, a founding member of the European Union, no longer trust the United
16:00States to safeguard its gold reserves. The operation took several months, between March and August of
16:062026. Prior to this, the Dutch central bank held 31.3% of its gold in New York. That has
16:14now dropped to
16:1518.5%. London will now house 32.1% of Dutch gold, making it the city with the largest share.
16:22The
16:23Netherlands still holds 30.8% of its reserves in Zeist in the Netherlands itself. The bank president,
16:30Olaf Sleipen, said the move was necessary to strengthen our resilience and preparedness. This is not
16:35a minor adjustment. This is a vote of no confidence in the United States, in Trump, and in the entire
16:42direction of American foreign policy. The Dutch gold supply totals 612.4 tons, valued at around 72.2
16:52billion euros. The Netherlands is the seventh largest holder of gold relative to GDP in the world. And
17:00they have just decided that their gold is safer in London than in New York. Think about the message
17:05that sends to every other nation that holds gold in the United States. The global economy is already
17:10reeling from the effects of this war. Oil prices have spiked sharply amid renewed tensions. The Strait of
17:22Russia is effectively shutting it down. The impact on global trade has been devastating. The Trump
17:27administration's tanker for tanker policy, which involves attacking Iranian tankers and retaliation
17:33for Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait, has only escalated the conflict further. Iran has refused to
17:40back down. And the cycle of retaliation continues. The world is now paying the price for Trump's reckless
17:47adventurism. And the Netherlands, with its $12 billion gold transfer, has sent a clear signal that
17:53the era of blind trust in American financial stability is over.
