00:00No surprise, it didn't take very long for Donald Trump to weigh in on the jobs numbers
00:04and the Federal Reserve. He's out with a tweet on Truth Social saying it's a great jobs number,
00:10breaking all estimates, except mine, by double and triple, and you haven't seen anything yet.
00:16He goes on to say that a strong country makes a lower interest rate. It's a better credit,
00:22which is not what economists would say. But he goes on to repeat what he said before about
00:27the country having the lowest rate of any country in the world like the old days.
00:32And without the United States agreeing to allow them their big surpluses, I assume he's talking
00:36about trade surpluses, we could stop that immediately. They would no longer be considered
00:40financially elite. And then he has a warning for the folks at the Federal Reserve. He says the Fed
00:46board, with its great new leader, must get smart, be patriots for a change. High interest rates put
00:54the USA at a very unfair disadvantage, and I won't allow that to happen. And he says if they don't
01:01lower interest rates, he will stop trading with countries that have trade deficits. So I'm not
01:08sure exactly what all that means, but he seems to be not happy at the same time he's happy.
