00:18Lincoln Memorial. The 250-foot arch proposed by President Trump has received final approval from
00:24the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, whose members were all appointed by Trump. But the project still
00:29needs final approval from another federal planning commission, and a lawsuit challenging the arch is
00:34still pending in federal court. The group behind that lawsuit argues the administration needs
00:39congressional approval to build it. The National Park Service says work could take two to three years,
00:44with crews working 20 hours a day, year-round. That timeline could have the arch finished near
00:50the end of Trump's second term.
