00:00and sold at the lowest prices directly to the consumer.
00:04And all we have to do to cut our trade deficit with the country is not trade with them.
00:09Canada's won.
00:10If we don't do any trading with Canada, we just end all trade with Canada,
00:14we'd save ourselves $90 billion.
00:17All trading with Canada.
00:19Don't forget, they do all of their business, almost all of their business with the United States,
00:23and we do a relatively small amount of business with them.
00:27But if we didn't want to, if we were playing hardball,
00:32all we'd do is say we're going to do no trading with Canada.
00:34If we did no trading with Canada, we'd save $90 billion.
00:38And so what I'm saying very simply is that we should be paying the lowest interest rate in the world.
00:45Each point in interest in this country that we pay costs us $650 billion.
00:54We should be at 1% or a half a percent.
00:57We shouldn't be at 4%.
00:59The big threat is we're not going to do business with you anymore if you don't take care of our
01:03farmers.
01:04We have that right. We won that right.
01:06If we didn't want to trade with Mexico, if we didn't want to trade with Canada,
01:10we'd save from $60 to $90 billion a year just by not trading with Canada.
01:14Now, Canada would be in a heap of trouble.
01:18They would, I don't think they'd exist.
01:20Because, again, they do 95% of their business with us.
01:23So if I say we're not going to trade, that means 95% of their business gets wiped out.
01:28I don't know what they do.
01:29But, so, we should have the lowest interest rate,
01:33as we used to 25, 30 years ago when we were smart.
01:39Catastrophic year for farmers and ranchers.
01:41One thing, that was the year that we began to import more food.
