00:25you will become an ambassador for this incredible organization

00:28and an inspiration for thousands of people across the world.

00:31So what advice would you give to someone

00:34who is wanting to start their own Beauty With A Purpose project?

00:39Good evening to you all, ladies and gentlemen.

00:42It is such an honor to be standing here

00:45to be one of the finalists for Beauty With A Purpose.

00:48The advice that I would give to someone who wants to start a project

00:51is start however small you have.

00:54I started with nothing and I took a step forward to achieve my dreams

00:58and I'm here standing on the stage.

01:00It takes a little amount of work to create change as much as we can.

01:04So take that step and go forward and your projects can make it.

01:15I want you to imagine what would the world be

01:19if many underestimate the process of metamorphosis,

01:23just like how before it blooms into a beautiful butterfly from a caterpillar.

01:28That's the same exact spirit I carry as a teacher.

01:32But before that, I was a student who wants to achieve

01:36and expand to my Beauty With A Purpose project.

01:38I carry that same spirit to make sure that no matter where the child is from

01:43or what education background,

01:45when you have the spirit of to take care of one thing

01:48and the caterpillar, that is exactly what a Miss Wall should be.

04:27I am so happy that I can bring knowledge to my kids,

04:31but I want them to know

04:32that life is about purpose,

04:35serving,

04:36and I want to see it in the table,

04:38but I want to prepare seats

04:40for they can be prepared for life.

04:54I have been working in communities

04:55who have been suffering some kind of urgency,

04:58such as a national catastrophe or rare disease.

05:01It's a place where few people want to be.

05:03But when I got there,

05:05they gave me the best present.

05:07They taught me to see beyond what the eyes can see

05:10and to listen with the heart.

05:12The qualities, I believe,

05:14it's essential to have the responsibility

05:16to step in a stage like this.

05:18Once, Princess Diana said

05:20that she wanted to be the queen of people's heart,

05:23and that's exactly the woman I wake up every day wanting to be.

06:00that you want the rest of the world to understand,

06:02and how does that show up in the way you carry this title?

06:07I'm going to start with our home country, Vietnam.

06:16There's something that I want the world to know

06:18about Asia and Oceania, especially Vietnam,

06:21is that we are ready for the world stage.

06:24My dream is to become the first Vietnamese woman

06:27to carry the 75-year legacy of Miss World

06:31and turning it into a century of beauty with a purpose.

06:35Growing up, I have witnessed my generation

06:38inheriting unfair intergenerational debt

06:40from climate injustice to a global absence of peace.

06:44The result, the consequences are heartbreaking.

06:47Farmers losing their land,

06:48people losing the place that they call home.

06:51It hits deeply inside my heart,

06:53and that is why I've decided to take my next step

06:55as a master of environmental science and policy

06:58in Columbia University.

07:00My dream, my future plan for Miss World Platform

07:04and for my project Gen Zero

07:06is to use it, to maximize it,

07:09not only as a communicator,

07:11but also as a future policymaker that I'm becoming,

07:16and with the heart and the hope of a humanitarian

07:19that I know I am today.

07:21So that is the essence of a Vietnamese woman

07:24that I want to represent this year

07:27for Miss World.

09:31that I have been running

09:32for over five years

09:34as a true Zambian.

09:35That is the true purpose,

09:37and that is an act of service

09:39that my people carry.
