The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and other rescue personnel rescued 18 people after motorbanca Geri Ann was found half-submerged off Barangay Magsidel, Calayan, Cagayan, on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The rescued individuals, including seven crew members and 11 passengers, were brought to the Calayan Rural Health Unit for medical assessment and were found in good physical condition.
