'Gusto nga dito e': Remulla questions VP Sara's 'safe' remark

"I GUESS SHE FELT SAFE KUNG GUSTO NIYA MAGPAKULONG DITO..."

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla in a press briefing on Monday, Sept. 7, said that it did not make sense to him when Vice President Sara Duterte remarked that she "doesn't not feel safe" around the police, when the latter's Chief Security Officer coordinated with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

This, upon the serving of the arrest warrant against Duterte issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court on three counts of grave threats last Friday, Sept. 4.

Earlier, Remulla said that the Vice President's camp initially wanted her to be incarcerated, then later decided that she would proceed directly to court in order to post bail. (Video courtesy of PNP-PIO)
