00:00Since John Harbaugh has gotten here, can you tell us what impact that you see that John Harbaugh has had
00:09on the entire organization?
00:10Well, it gave the whole organization energy.
00:13Everybody's happy, man, walking around, smiling, for many reasons.
00:18One, John Harbaugh, that's a big reason why.
00:20The draft has gone well for him, and I think they just feel really good about what's happened to this
00:25team over the last two years, or the last two drafts.
00:28The Giants have changed their football team to me.
00:31And, you know, the NFL is about Boomer and Geo.
00:33You talk about all this stuff all the time, but it's now a league for big people.
00:38I mean, so many teams are big.
00:41The Giants are one of them.
00:42I mean, they got guys.
00:43You say that about the Ravens all the time, about their roster being the biggest in the game and getting
00:47off the bus, and you feel like they're building that here.
00:49Absolutely.
00:50So one day I'm with the Ravens.
00:51I'm down there getting ready to do the game.
00:53I'm in the cafeteria, and Ozzie Newsom comes up.
00:56Come in, come in.
00:56He's all excited.
00:57And I go, damn, did I do something?
00:59Why don't we go out in the home?
01:00He goes, yeah, what's going on?
01:01He goes, Phil, Phil, I just signed a tackle, you know, whatever.
01:06And I said, oh, yeah.
01:06And he goes, he's 6'8", 350.
01:10He's happy about that.
01:12I know.
01:12It was just unbelievable.
01:14That describes who they were.
01:16And I get a little bit of that feeling with the Giants.
01:18So here's the other part about this whole John Harbaugh thing.
01:21Like, we had him on.
01:23You know, he did want to play the guys in preseason.
01:25Nobody wants to play guys in preseason.
01:26And I know Jackson Dart played a little bit.
01:28Jameis played some.
01:29Odell Beckham played some.
01:31Malik didn't play at all, and rightfully so.
01:33But the point being is that are the practices noticeably different from what they were from previous groups?
01:42I guess with the exception of Tom Coughlin.
01:45Right.
01:45All the way back to Tom Coughlin before I would say that.
01:48In other words, the practices are exactly what you'd want to see as a head coach, an owner, ex-player,
01:55whatever.
01:56It's really high energy.
02:00Not a lot of talking going on except the coaches.
02:02The players are just in and out.
02:04It's amazing how busy they keep them for two hours and maybe sometimes two and a half hours on the
02:10field.
02:10So it's also competitive practice.
02:13Oh, big time.
02:14I mean, they're hitting, right?
02:15I mean, they're thudding, at least thudding.
02:16Yeah.
02:17It's like, you know, players are running in on the field from the sideline coming out, in and out.
02:22I'm like, what the hell is going on here?
02:24You know, I can't even figure it out.
02:25I can't even figure it out, but the big thing about that is the energy is real, and I talk
02:32to a lot of the players.
02:32You know, they hang around, we talk, and you know what?
02:34None of them complain one time for one word to me about anything or about John Harbaugh because he's got
02:44them.
02:44They know what he's doing.
02:45It's the right thing, and, you know, I think they've done a really good job.
