00:00This is one of the best days of the footballing calendar and it has added to a really jovial happy
00:09mood in the stands, helping to raise the level of sound by more than a few decibels. Shirt-sleeve order,
00:15very much the dress code.
00:20One glance and you know where we are. It is one of the most recognisable arenas for the beautiful game
00:27in the world. And boy, does it add to the occasion.
00:33We have already started here. Spal couldn't have a clearer view of their situation. It is do or die, a
00:42win to save themselves. Defeat means relegation.
00:50Zappacosta. Zappacosta plays it forward.
00:55Goyos. Goyos looking to penetrate opposition lines.
01:05Valdefiore.
01:06Milan were imperious when the two sides last met. The fans are asking for more of the same.
01:16Goyos ball, who's going to get there? Over to the left.
01:20Oh, he's in! He's had a goal!
01:23He's scored!
01:29What a great finish, but how about the touch? It just allowed him to put the ball exactly where he
01:34wanted it, and the rest became a formality.
01:37Ray-oko.
01:40Thank you, Lord!
01:43Thank you!
01:48Thank you!
02:13Milan take the early advantage
02:22Harkas, Calicuri, has a pop, that was no routine save, the keeper really dug out his defence then, a magnificent
02:32effort
02:40Milan have hit the front early, a foothold in the game, what a good start to the game, I think
02:45their play has been fast and inventive
02:47and this is a fine example of early intent, they've begun as they mean to go on, and another goal
02:52is on the cards
02:55it has gone through to him, has a pop, this could fall and in again
03:02he's been off dry, that's a little unfortunate, he had a lot of people worried then
03:17good challenge, he just stood firm
03:20Shapes to shoot
03:23great effort, beautifully taken
03:25that's a great effort, there was very little back there to indicate what was coming
03:31Harkas spreads it towards the left
03:34good ball, it's found its target
03:43it's being played forward
03:48forward
03:49forward it goes
03:53up towards the front line
03:57hoists it forward, just brushed off the ball there
04:07tries to get it forward quickly
04:14Arkas
04:16Arkas drives it forward
04:19shoots
04:30well they've seen lots of the ball, trying to go for it a bit, a bit of creativity and adventure
04:36As Serbi passes it forward
04:39Gets it back
04:45Arcas
04:48Forward tracking back like that
04:50Always appreciated by the crowd
04:52Well they say that your front lads should be that first line
04:55Of stopping the opposition
04:57And I think he's taken it to another level
04:59With his desire to get back and help everyone out
05:04Zappacosta
05:05Tries to locate someone up front
05:10Defending was strong and firm
05:12And it's played forward
05:15Arcas
05:15That's a promising ball
05:21Big chance
05:24Oh that's a fine save
05:26Well you can't ask for much more than that
05:28A difficult moment he simply had to deal with
05:36He's gone out of play
05:52Very nearly half an hour gone here
05:55Milan scored early of course
05:57And the score is 1-0
06:00And oh that's too long
06:04And that's the end of that
06:05It all started well enough
06:15Arcas
06:20In look
06:20Pounce himself back in the starting side
06:22For the first time in a while
06:26It's Inla
06:27He can pounce on that
06:30They've done it
06:33Two to the good
06:34They have dreaming space
06:41Arcas was quick to move in
06:44Keeper's handling wasn't great
06:45That's just great play Peter
06:48A textbook example
06:49For any wannabe footballers out there
06:51On positioning
06:52A movement
07:17Milan get themselves a two-goal cushion
07:20Well with this kind of authority
07:22Peter why not push on and totally kill this off
07:26A Serbi with a long pass
07:29Chance to squeeze it through
07:30No not quite
07:42That's a good foot in there
07:44Whistle's gone
07:45That's a foul
07:58Shooting chance
08:05To get it forward quickly
08:09Arcas
08:14Milan clearly seemed to have lost their passing accuracy
08:17Something they're obviously going to have to fix pretty quickly now
08:20He's left his man
08:22Oh it's opened up
08:24It's up to head it
08:37Well that's where he wants it
08:43Oh he's broken through
08:45Chance
08:48Yes
08:50And already they're looking to run away with it
08:57The lightness of step
08:59The sharpness of movement
09:00The certainty of finish
09:06Can you see
09:07Come on
09:08You can see
09:12In the air
09:13Something you can see
09:13Maybe
09:14kasih
09:14Maybe
09:14K
09:14And
09:20Movie
09:38Milan take a three goal lead
09:40and they are romping out of sight
09:42no doubt as to who has the momentum
09:44here now
09:45the only doubt is how many is coming
09:49Milan can't seem to retain
09:54possession
09:55forward what does he try from here
10:00it goes to show he is human after all
10:04I'm not sure what he had in mind and I
10:07don't think he knew either
10:12a Serbian battles to win it back
10:14Arcas
10:16Goyos
10:18chip through
10:22Goyos
10:23Goyos
10:23side that time
10:41Arcas
10:43Goyos
10:44back to the keeper
10:47away from immediate danger
10:51Arcas
10:54yeah that does look a foul
10:55referee's given a free kick
11:00well the referee has made it pretty clear now that this is his last chance
11:04well I think the referee would have told him to rein it in or suffer the consequences
11:11Trussbar comes to the rescue
11:14tries to get it clear
11:16pulls loose
11:17who's getting there
11:19it's half time
11:20well there's plenty that can be said about the last 45 minutes
11:24but one thing that cannot be said is that it's dull
11:26one-sided yes
11:28but that's what excitement
11:31this looks well and truly sewn up already Peter
11:34but please feel free to forget what I've just said
11:37if there's a spectacle
11:39and Arcas
11:41that is absolutely glorious
11:45sumptuous finish
11:46an absolute joy
11:51players ecstatic
11:52fans delirious
11:54this is utopian
12:01looking back at that
12:02that's how you play on the counter
12:04quick and decisive
12:05and ruthless with the finish
12:06I thought it was a stunning stunning breakaway
12:10and just like that
12:12he helps himself to another hat-trick
12:34Milan tear their opponents apart once again
12:37they are utterly ruthless
12:42the balls come loose
12:43and the chase is on
12:46forward it goes
12:50Goyos
12:50tried to play it through
12:52the movement was good
12:53but the pass lacked authority
12:55authority
12:55a cause of mild frustration
13:00real chance
13:02he steered it beyond the post
13:04well maybe he just got a tad excitable
13:07when he knows those moments need the coolest of heads
13:16Zappacosta
13:20Spau
13:20seeker performance here
13:22which reflects rather better on the boss
13:24he's taken a fair amount of criticism
13:30there was plenty on that
13:32oh look I don't want to sound
13:33too dismissive
13:34but from here
13:35that looks
13:36the harder thing to do
13:42goal the fury
13:50Inlet takes the long option
13:52as he picked him out
13:53and he's on his way
13:55Goyos
13:56tries a shot
13:58and
13:59he's straight offside
14:08Keefer's got good distance on that
14:10as Serbi drives it forward
14:14Arkas
14:15Goyos
14:17tries to dink it in
14:18that intervention was very necessary
14:24Zappacosta
14:25and that's a foul
14:27simple decision for the referee
14:33it's exactly the start of this second half
14:36they would have hoped for
14:37they can build on that morale boost
14:39goes for goal
14:40he's scored
14:44this is as ruthless as it gets
14:48well I think we've gone past humiliation now
14:51this could be doing some real psychological damage
15:23it's become a case of men against boys
15:25well unsurprisingly Peter the opposition look completely stunned
15:30I'm not sure they can gather themselves
15:33well intercepted
15:34really alert to the danger
15:36great strength
15:37too strong for his opponent
15:40he's made sure that that won't get through
15:42it's a loose ball
15:48and they win it back again
15:58hoists it forward
16:00hoists it forward
16:00cuts it out
16:04go to Fiori
16:06as Serbi gets it back
16:09Goyos
16:10decent looking ball
16:15well he caught that pure but no end product
16:20I just think that's really good management
16:22introducing one of his younger players
16:24when the pressure's totally off
16:26just allowing him some valuable easy on-field experience time
16:41good save he got a decent fist on that
16:47chance to break
16:48Milan really have been alive to interceptions
16:52and picking off any loose balls
17:01Arcas
17:01looking as though he's been given special treatment here
17:04treatment he could well do without
17:06well they seem intent on marking them out of the game
17:09they're certainly trying to wind them up in the process Peter
17:19Inla
17:21Arcas
17:28that's one way of trying to make things happen
17:31there's a few who could follow that example
17:36just brushed off the ball there
17:41now it's Pagliarella
17:45massive leap
17:47oh almost a six
17:49well that's why we all say
17:51indecision is faping
17:57it's an untidy challenge
17:58free kick given
18:14and it's played forward
18:17Spal appear determined to play through the middle again
18:21and guess what
18:22he's through
18:23and Arcas
18:26he's put it wide
18:27Arcas looked very impressive there
18:31well at least until he got into a shooting position
18:34something
18:35I'm sure he won't have to do it again
18:39I'm sure he won't have to do it again
18:39I'm sure he won't have to do it again
19:12so for Costa
19:13to Kanovic
19:18that's been drilled forward
19:22Inlet battles to win it back
19:26he's an Arcas
19:29it's there
19:32a contest no more
19:34it is nothing short of utter humiliation
19:41yeah
19:41by the looks of it
19:43there may be still more to come
19:47four in the game
19:48he is the man
20:15for Kanovic
20:17forward it goes
20:24and here's quagliarella good challenge he just stood firm
20:29quagliarella really was well marshalled there
20:33and oh really well taken goal
20:39and again they pile on the misery
20:46well i wasn't expecting him to go this big peter
20:49but they have been superb
20:52how many borders he wants
21:31well it's been a an absolutely fabulous spell for them and they're starting to look unstoppable
21:36there could be more on the way
21:41doesn't get the pass he's looking for
21:46he's making good use of his strength there just refuses to be out muscled
21:51foot in
21:54it's a very good battle there terrific to watch
22:01arcas
22:03they're actually not getting too tight which is interesting
22:07it's probably cautionary don't dive in try to pinch it or or intercept so nobody can get in behind
22:22salvatore bocchetti drives it
22:24it's good for it
22:28quick pull forward
22:32just brushed off the ball there
22:36and here's quagliarella
22:38and here's quagliarella
22:39of the fuel
22:43to canovic
22:45has come loose
22:46finds himself eased off the ball
22:49he's pulled him up for that challenge
22:55well what goes through a player's head at times like that is a mystery to me
23:09try to get it forward quickly
23:13confirmation that there will be four minutes stoppage time
23:17great strength too strong for his opponent
23:20arcas
23:21he's away
23:22arcas
23:24and yes it's there
23:28well surely that completes the demolition
23:31if it hadn't occurred already
23:36listen
23:37when you're on an invitation to improve your goal difference
23:39ways off
24:06spowl are making a change now
24:08i think this is going to add an entirely different dimension to their attack now
24:13they've got the physical presence they've got a real aerial threat and it looks more promising from here
24:18well they're very much the better team at the moment peter and no doubt we'll be looking to cause even
24:24more damage here
24:27well
24:27arcas
24:30calia rara
24:32arcas
24:33and that's a good play on the left hand side now to profit from it
24:46and that is that
24:48Milan sign off the season with a win
