00:00The US Army's 3rd Infantry Division has a special re-enlistment initiative for its soldiers,
00:05a four-day pass to play Grand Theft Auto VI. Any soldier who signs a re-enlistment contract
00:09between 1st August 2026 and 14th November 2026 will be authorised for a special four-day pass,
00:15an official memo. This special pass is specifically designed to coincide with the
00:19highly anticipated release of the video game Grand Theft Auto VI. Speaking to PC Gamer,
00:24Lieutenant Colonel Agel Tomko said the idea was to have a unique incentives program
00:28that connects to what soldiers are interested in. Tomko said there are 130 soldiers in the
00:33battalion who are eligible for the incentive, and so far, 20 have chosen it. Now, me,
00:38I think I'd have even more time to play GTA VI if I simply didn't join the army,
00:42but I guess that's why no one's sending me to the front line.
