00:00When will the war in Iran end, Mr. President?
00:02I think very soon.
00:03I think it'll be probably right after the midterms.
00:07They're trying to hold out as long as they can to complicate the election.
00:10But I think people are wise to it because Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:15It's very simple.
00:16This is a very simple thing.
00:18Iran cannot have.
00:19They were two weeks away from having a nuclear weapon.
00:22If they had it, they would have blown up Israel.
00:25They would have blown up the Middle East.
00:26Then they would have hit some of Europe's, in my opinion, Europe's cities and beyond cities.
00:32And they would have probably hit us too before we put out the fire.
00:38But they cannot have a nuclear weapon.
00:40But I would say shortly, and oil will come tumbling down.
00:44When that happens, oil prices will come tumbling down.
00:49How's your call with MBS and what is the U.S. willing to do?
00:53Well, I have had a call with MBS.
00:55He's a good friend of mine.
00:57And it's going to, I can just say, everything's going to work out fine and dandy.
01:01It's going to be very good.
01:02So you don't get involved in these things.
01:04You have a very nice, nice freedom of you.
01:08But you have your own difficulties, I will imagine.
01:10All right.
01:10No one again, yeah.
01:14But no, I think it's going to, it's all working out fine.
01:17I would say shortly after, they went to a great convention.
01:22We went to Dallas, Texas.
01:25We had a midterm convention.
01:27It was never done by either party.
01:29It's probably going to become a staple.
01:31It was so successful, so beautiful.
01:34The arenas were packed both days.
01:37And frankly, nobody expected to ever see anything like it.
01:41It felt, I think it actually felt better than the so-called original conventions.
01:45It was as good as it could get.
01:47And the Republicans had a good time.
01:51We had a good time.
01:52A lot of great people running for office.
01:55And the same people.
01:57We're running against some major insanity.
02:01But we don't have to get into that, but major insanity.
02:04But we had a tremendous, that was a tremendous two-day period.
02:08Mr. President, Mr. President, Mr. President,
02:10Mr. President, do you assess that Iran is responsible for the least-
02:14Mr. President, what do you say?
02:17To some people in Ireland, you say the U.S. is facilitating genocide in Gaza
02:23and also facilitating Israel around the illegal occupation of territories in the West Bank.
02:29Well, when you say Gaza, you know, we put out the fire.
02:32We got all the hostages back.
02:35There's very little happening right now in Gaza.
02:38That's not the place that people are talking about, actually, now.
02:41It was all about Gaza.
02:42We got involved and we facilitated a piece of a kind.
02:48But we got all the hostages back.
02:53Some dead, some living.
02:55We got them all back.
02:56They wanted, you know, it's amazing.
02:57The parents of those dead hostages, they knew they were dead.
03:01They wanted their son or daughter, but mostly sons.
03:05They wanted their sons back.
03:07Their babies.
03:07The mothers sent their babies.
03:09They wanted the babies back just as much as though their son was alive.
03:15And we got them back.
03:16We got every one of them back.
03:18We had, in the end, we had 28 that were dead.
03:23And we had a lot that were alive.
03:25If you go back over the, you know, three, four-year period, we got many people forgot.
03:29But I always said that last 30 or 40 is going to be very tough because of what happened.
03:34But we are, if you look at Gaza, there's a lot of good relationships taking place right now in Gaza.
03:43It's been quite amazing.
03:45I think we've done a great job.
03:46Jared Kushner, Steve Whitcoff, the whole group has done a very good job with it.
03:50Mr. Can I just say, sorry, just to make fun, the President discussed the need for ongoing humanitarian aid to
03:58go into Gaza.
03:59And we will continue our discussions in terms of Irish aid and support going into Gaza.
04:05The President will try to facilitate that.
04:08I will get his job.
04:09Yeah.
04:09And I think that's something.
04:11And the peace plan that the President has announced is something we support, the 20-point peace plan.
04:17And it is difficult and it is challenging, but I think it's the right direction, particularly the humanitarian aspect.
04:25I think we can do more about it.
04:26We'll get the head down.
04:27We'll get the head down.
04:27We'll get the head down.
04:28We'll get the head down.
04:29So I'll let Dan Skavino work on it.
04:31Mr. President, what would you say to the thousands of Irish people who will be protesting today because they don't
04:39want you to come to Ireland?
04:41The President, I didn't know there was a protest.
04:43It can't be a very big one because we've been all over Ireland today already.
04:47It's early in the morning and we've been all.
04:50We landed early.
04:51We got here and we've made a couple of visits, as you know, and we have others to make.
04:57But I haven't seen any protests.
05:00It's a friendly protest.
05:03We have a great relationship with Ireland.
05:06The United States and Ireland have a fantastic relationship, a very profitable one for Ireland, less profitable for us, to
05:14be honest with you.
05:16A rather big surplus.
05:18Your country, you can be very proud of your country because there's a big surplus, right?
05:24But no, we have a great relationship.
05:27I have seen no protests.
05:28President Trump, is Iran responsible for the attack on the East-West Pipeline?
05:37And when do you think Saudi Arabia is going to be able to get that contact?
05:40The President Trump, I think they are, probably.
05:41They are.
05:42You know, they're on the balls of their feet right now, but I think they are.
05:46They've been in charge of that for a while.
05:50We've had discussions.
05:53The Houthis called us and they don't want to fight with us.
05:56They let us know.
05:58They don't want to fight with us.
05:58They don't want me to go after them.
06:01They don't want us to go after them.
06:03But they've called and they've talked to us and they don't want us to.
06:07They would much prefer not having us involved.
06:10And they're letting most ships go through.
06:13There's just one country that they're not too happy with and we'll get that straightened out.
06:18But I have to say we've done a great job.
06:22You know, we control, as you know, we're really very powerful to control our most straight and nobody saw that
06:29happening.
06:29But we have a very powerful control over it.
06:32We have a naval blockade that's been so incredible.
06:36Oil year oil prices would be much higher.
06:39We're taking a lot of boats out.
06:41We take out on average 25 boats a day.
06:44Most of them at night.
06:45But we take on average about 25 boats out every single day.
