In an exclusive interview with India Today on the sidelines of the BRICS summit, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian condemned the United States and Israel over ongoing regional military actions, stating, "They are the real terrorists in the world." Pezeshkian accused Washington of committing state terrorism, attempting to topple Iran's government, and inciting division among Middle Eastern nations to exploit energy resources and sell weapons. Addressing speculation regarding Iran's leadership, Pezeshkian dismissed rumors concerning Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, confirming that "he is alive" and actively carrying out his constitutional responsibilities. He further noted that the United States disseminates misinformation because it cannot locate the Supreme Leader's precise whereabouts. Concluding on governance and diplomatic talks, Pezeshkian reaffirmed that the Supreme Leader remains the ultimate authority who retains the final decision-making power in Iran.

00:00Continuing to keep the focus on this big bricks blockbuster interview only on India Today.
00:07Well, Iran's president, Masoud Pazeshkia, has come out to speak on a host of subjects.
00:11And in this exclusive interview, one such focus was on him slamming the United States
00:18over the ongoing conflict and condemning the U.S. military strikes that have taken place in Iran.
00:24Now, Pazeshkia says U.S. assassinates anybody they wish and then labels them as terrorists.
00:29He accused the United States of committing state terror, no less than Israel, saying they're the real terrorists in the
00:35world.
00:36Pazeshkia has also hit back at the U.S. over blocking its route, saying trying to wage an economic war
00:41on Iran.
00:42Pazeshkia says America is trying to choke Iran and cripple their economy completely.
00:47He stresses that sanctions will not force Tehran to surrender, asserting that Iran has no choice but to respond to
00:54U.S. attacks.
00:54He's also, in fact, broken his silence on Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, saying he's alive and is performing his duties.
01:02He said that the U.S. has been unable to locate Iran's Supreme Leader and is instead spreading lies and
01:08speculations.
01:09Pazeshkia also makes it clear that the Supreme Leader remains the ultimate decision-maker in Iran.
01:15Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has also responded to some of the statements that's been made by the president
01:22in his conversation with us on India Today.
01:26He has come out to say, that is, Donald Trump has come out to say that the war will end
01:30very soon and that oil prices will come tumbling down.
01:34He's also reiterated his claim that the U.S. controls the Strait of Hormuz, saying that the Houthis do not
01:39want to fight with the United States and are allowing most ships to pass.
01:46One important aspect of which a lot of conversation, a lot of reporting, misreporting, disinformation has taken place, and that
01:56has to do with your new Supreme Leader.
01:58How is he, sir?
02:02Because there's so much speculation and intrigue.
02:08You know that, with the same data that they have, they have targeted most of our leaders and commanders, our
02:20scientists, even in their houses, next to their family members.
02:30They, they, no human framework would allow them to do something like this.
02:39Therefore, they are, you know, deepening this kind of speculation.
02:43Well, thank God, our Supreme Leader is alive, and it has a kind of sincere relation, and he's doing his
02:50job within the same framework, and since they cannot locate his exact place, they are, you know, spreading such speculations
03:01regarding our Supreme Leader, to do the same to him as well.
03:06But the bitter truth is that, with their technologies, actually, they are the real terrorists in the world.
03:14You look, look at Israel and America, no difference.
03:18What they are doing in Syria, in Lebanon, in Gaza, Iraq, Qatar, even in Iran, they assassinate anybody they wish,
03:30and then they assassinate, but they claim that these people are terrorists.
03:36So it's a, you know, weird world.
03:38They kill people very easily, for a single person, they kill a whole family, and they destroy a whole building,
03:48then they say they killed a terrorist.
03:50So this is, I think, a new way of committing crimes in a world in which we live.
03:57It's a catastrophe.
03:58They are real terrorists.
04:00They are state terrorists.
04:03The list of those, I mean, targets are written down by them, and they disseminate, and then they say they
04:11are terrorists.
04:12These people include leaders and scientists and students of a society.
04:18They are targeting bridges, factories.
04:21Are they terrorists?
04:23And then when they do that, they claim that they are fighting against terrorists.
04:29We are looking at expansion and retaliation against U.S. with attacks on Middle East countries and the Gulf countries.
04:39Isn't this exactly what the West wants?
04:42To keep you divided?
04:48Do you have any doubts in this regard?
04:55Actually, they say divide and rule.
05:00Inside our country, those, you know, incidents that took happen in January,
05:13the same American government said that they wanted to topple down our government.
05:19Right now, there are various ethnicities in Iran.
05:23They want to pit them against each other and sow the discord and bring about problems in order to topple
05:30down the government.
05:33The same happens in the neighboring countries.
05:37If you look at the writings, if you look at the writings, and they have already published them,
05:45their intention is to pit Arab countries against Iran so that we would be in quarrel and fight against each
05:55other.
05:55And then they will exploit our oil.
05:58And then, regarding that, they will sell weapons to the Arab countries, and we are just keeping fighting.
06:07So what is the rationale behind that?
06:11That in a country, one country should be scared of another country.
06:17Should humans be scared of each other?
06:23Therefore, what the Americans are doing is sowing the seeds of discord.
06:28And from the day that I took office, my utmost effort was to preserve unity and consistency inside the country
06:39and to, you know, convert these differences of opinion and taste into unity, not discord.
06:50And we stretch the hand of humanity and kindness.
06:55And that is what we are doing.
06:57Where do the negotiations stand?
06:59Who takes the final call?
07:00Is it the Ayatollah?
07:01Is it the IRGC?
07:02Or is it you?
07:06Well, naturally, in our country, it is the supreme leader who has the final say.
07:11It has been the same from the first day, and now it is the same.
07:15Naturally, he is the person who will have the final say.
