00:06though let's catch up with storm stacy who crashed out of that first bsb race he's talking to shaky
00:12storm stacy uh great track for you cabal park generally but unfortunately in that one there
00:17a little mishap um whilst running fourth great position and daniel went how are you feeling
00:23can we uh can we turn it all around for tomorrow yeah of course we can yeah we'll definitely be
00:27back back on form tomorrow i think we started eighth which is an ideal but i've got a decent
00:31start so um yeah just just unfortunate really i'd had a few warnings in the race with the front end
00:37and just get carried on pushing like like you do and and you kind of get away with it you
00:44get away
00:44with it and and i could see the boys going in front and there's a few things i was struggling
00:49with with
00:49a bike and and and i just had to let them go i couldn't i couldn't keep up with them
00:54and i knew
00:54i didn't have the speed for them so and then leon come past i thought right well if i can
00:58just stick
00:59with leon and then i jumped on the brakes down the back straight and i just just couldn't stop
01:03couldn't stop the bike at all break the same place as leon just couldn't get it hooked up went in
01:07too
01:08deep and just lost the front before he hit the grass so most importantly you're all all right though yeah
01:12no all good yeah it's just it's one of the nicer crashes if you have any yeah you literally just
01:16slip off on the grass dust yourself off go again tomorrow well best of luck tomorrow storm thank you
01:24yeah we'll look forward to seeing storm and the rest of the bsb boys in action again tomorrow
01:29but for now one more race to bring you here at cadwell this afternoon the bmw f900r cup in the
01:34company of tom brooks and danny bucken thank you very much indeed matt and what a trooper danny
01:41bucken is straight off of the bike still in his leathers and here in the coventry box for the first
01:45of the f900r cup beats danny fair play to you mate i mean just want to say amazing effort out
01:50there
01:50after a couple years off a bike yeah cheers tom i'm a little bit hot at the minute but no
01:55excuses
01:55mate we've got a job to do flat out mate i'm looking forward to this one right riders on their
01:58warm-up luck then here for the first of two heats for the rocket off bmw f900r cup
02:03at cadwell park the uh bright blue sunshine of earlier on this afternoon is replaced by a sort of
02:08ashen gray cloud that's come overhead we were expecting a bit of rain to come through
02:12earlier on uh this afternoon but it hasn't a hit as of yet and it looks like we may actually
02:16miss it despite the fact the wind has gotten up quite a lot let's have a look though at the
02:20standings shall we going into this first of two heats on saturday afternoon rather here at cadwell
02:25so barry burrell has a 23 point lead over christian smith in the championship and also kieran smith
02:30uh his twin brother there as well tied on points for second nikki coates now trading back by 30 points
02:36in fourth place in the championship ahead of josh corner and then bobby very who will line up on
02:40pole position sitting in sixth in the standings the last of the riders that's sort of in realistic
02:45championship contention with three weekends remaining in 2026 and here is how the grid lines
02:50up for heat one then so it's bobby very on pole position with christian smith and nikki coates
02:54the ulsterman on the outside of row one liam bella heads row two with james higginson and josh
02:59wainwright for company row three josh corner tricky qualifying for the geordie lad with josh smith and
03:05jordan ashington on the outside then it's alex pierson on row four with james c ben revicki on the outside
03:11of
03:11that one row five is uh alex bello with nick heath liam walker and then giovanni beniosi the 16th and
03:17final rider on the grid no last chance qualifier here for these lads danny looking forward to seeing
03:22what's going to happen though but all of them can just sort of breathe a sigh of relief they don't
03:26have to worry about too much pressure because they're all into the main event regardless tomorrow
03:28yeah but there's still points you know and barry burrell's obviously got that 23 point advantage now
03:33due to the misfortune the others had at the last round so they're all going to need to really try
03:38and beat
03:39barry and they've got to try and get some points over him so yeah you see the rain in the
03:43distance
03:44as we look outwards from park corners looks like it's going to be hitting at about half past six or
03:49so but the wind's gotten up so if it comes in there is a possibility that we could end up
03:53with that
03:54affecting one of the races yes and uh that will throw a little bit of a spanner in the works
03:59but
03:59there's a couple of the guys on the grid there that were really looking good in the way yesterday that
04:03i saw including this guy on screen here bobby very yeah bobby very lining this one up on pole position
04:07then with christian smith and nikki coates on the outside of the front row of the grid it's eight
04:13laps of action ready to begin as the 16 riders take to their positions and we wait for that green
04:17flag to be waved at the back which it is so now and it will be all eyes to the
04:22lights for their first
04:23time this weekend in the bmw f900r can't wait for the revs to rise then red lights are on lights
04:29are out
04:29and we are underway christian smith with a great start off the middle of front row nikki coates
04:33left languishing as they head down in towards the first corner of copies for the first time coach
04:38there fights it back late on the brakes on the inside and through to the race lead or is he
04:42though
04:42because christian smith has managed to mug him as they come through up the hill into turn two and
04:46look who's in p4 there tom off the line up into uh p4 is josh corner what a fantastic start
04:52straight
04:52onto that league trio and he's uh yeah he was not happy with his qualifying so i think he's riding
04:58with a
04:58little bit of anger there no doubt about it seventh on the grid up to p4 already on the brakes
05:02we go in
05:02towards park corner the scene of so much drama here at this weekend already if you haven't seen the
05:07first bsp race a few minutes ago go back and watch it because i'm sure you'll see incidents aplenty but
05:12we come down through towards the end of the first sector into the gooseneck this chicane which is so
05:17tight and so twisty to make your way through and in towards mansfield and it's christian smith with that
05:23early advantage at the sharp end of the field yeah now this is a track as well tom we don't
05:28often see
05:29too many people getting getting broken away so you know usually this track keeps everyone bunched
05:33together so let's see i mean even in this opening lap you've got a little bit of a gap there
05:37between
05:37josh corner and uh i couldn't quite see who that was behind him uh yeah just fine just for liam
05:42bella
05:43yeah liam bella so yeah i mean it's the four protagonists as usual out at the front here it's
05:48an interesting one this circuit danny as you say it's so physical isn't it there's there's no room for
05:53for rest around this racetrack and it it seems to be and you can give us a real insight on
05:57this having been out on the
05:58track about 10 minutes ago that smoothness is the key around here yeah you've got to try and keep
06:02smooth you've got to try and keep momentum and you've got to try and keep the bike pushing forward
06:05all the time and as much of a stop start circuit it is you really don't need that on your
06:09body because
06:10the moment you relax into it it all comes a little bit easier especially through this first sector so
06:14yeah it's um if you start riding tight around here you know even eight laps for these guys will
06:19feel like a long time i'll be very having a look to the inside there of christian smith in towards
06:23coppice at
06:24start of lap two nothing doing for him on this occasion but we head down the pile straight and
06:29in towards a pile corner slipstream could be a possibility to send one through on the inside
06:33christian smith knows that goes for a defensive line but very later on the brakes goes through before
06:38they've even reached the apex of the corner so a nice move there from very to take the lead away
06:43from the elder of the two smith twins but uh yeah didn't look like christian held that uh that line
06:50on
06:50the inside and wasn't putting up too much of a fight at this early stage no and at this point
06:54in the race you know there's a couple of key overtaking points here especially for these smaller
06:58cc bikes obviously one going into park corner there you saw with the slipstream it's charlie's two up to
07:04park it is a real big incline so slipstream comes into effect there and um you know there's well i
07:11mean
07:11saying that there's a couple of overtaking places but they're a bit hairy yeah in terms of block passes
07:16back into the hairpin no doubt about it looking there at nikki coast just seeing him getting the
07:21front wheel up as he comes over the rise of the mountain really a couple of uh weekends he's had
07:26this year where he's ended up with with some misfortune got disqualified from knock hill with the
07:30bike not compliant to the regulations last time out as well in the main event lost a good handful of
07:35points after crashing out at thruxton do you think this is a weekend for him that is really crucial more
07:40so than say other riders in that championship fight yeah i feel like he's got a win he has to
07:44win this
07:45weekend he has to you know he obviously had the misfortune with josh corner at alton park as well
07:48so for me i think he needs to get those points he needs to win this race and uh you
07:53know he's he has
07:54got to try and take a little chunk out of burrell's um championship lead because if burrell's into his
08:00stride here you know with the amount of races we've got left it's going to be plain sailing for him
08:03and
08:04an easy uh end to the year yeah it's been a circuit that burrell has ridden at exceptionally well over
08:08the last couple of years won the main event here last year by about five seconds or so he'll be
08:12out
08:12in heat two shortly after this one has concluded but now it's still probably varied at least at the
08:17fastest lap last time around with the 135 158 ahead of christian smith nicky coast and you can see
08:24there's they're still pushing quite a lot aren't they here yeah very was there it's um yeah through
08:29chris curve there and you're on the edge of the tire there's a couple of little bumps and he just
08:32caught the bumps and uh yeah a little bit of a dark line from behind the um the bike there
08:38was the
08:38obviously the rubber tire just laying down some uh some fat rubber yeah bit of a squeaky bum moment
08:44there oh he's gone down as christian smith on the exit of the chicane he's up and onto his feet
08:49and
08:49okay with the assistance of the marshals running to his aid but that's a big shame for the elder of
08:55the two smith twins who crashes out from second place here on board the bathams racing bmw and uh the
09:06disappointment there for him is it's not only gonna cost him uh positions and points in the race but
09:11also grip positions for tomorrow's main event as well and you can see there just lost the front
09:15on the exit of the right-hander yeah i wonder if you caught the curb there you know as you
09:19go through
09:19the right there and in the left you are literally on the white line at the inside and sometimes you
09:23can miscalculate that and obviously end up on the uh curb itself so i didn't quite catch that angle
09:29but maybe that's what's happened yeah shame there for christian smith it has now built a gap there
09:33for bobby there and just released any immediate pressure from behind nikki coach now in second
09:38place he was about eight tens of a second adrift over the timing line last time around then you've
09:42got josh corner who's now promoted up into third place so that's a really good uh possible result here
09:47for josh corner reminder that the top two rows of the grid ala the top three grid positions uh from
09:53each
09:53of the heats will be uh decided by a grid ballot for the main event tomorrow so even if you
09:58finish
09:58let's say you finish third in this race there is a possibility you could still line up on
10:01pole position for that main event tomorrow which as we know track position is so important here
10:06with it being so tight to pass yeah and you know just touching back on what we said earlier about
10:10the overtaking places there's not many and once you get um into the bottom of the mountain section or
10:15even from mansfield in the second you know what we're going to see on track now is it is almost
10:20impossible to catch and to make a pass unless it's a real sort of dirty block pass so you do
10:26have to
10:26pick your moments and qualifying is massively important here some good battles going on
10:30further down as well just inside the top ten you've got josh wainwright who's returning to racing
10:33after a good absence actually about eight years or so he's last time we raced full-time the land from
10:39london on for the cutty stark pub bmw sitting there in sixth position just ahead of josh smith who's one
10:45of
10:45our regulars uh then you've got alex pearson who is just uh a little bit of drift of these as
10:50they
10:50come over the mountain but yeah this is a really good run for him on board that number 26 bmw
10:56f900r
10:57machine and i find it so interesting here especially danny as well as we see a move being made as
11:02he goes
11:02through on the inside there josh wainwright and uh makes it through on the number 89 that is uh james
11:09higginson that he's got the better of there but uh i find it really interesting here because you see
11:14riders that have been out the saddle for a little while they come back onto these bikes one they're
11:18having fun but two they're actually relatively easy to ride if you're jumping onto like yourself a super
11:23bike obviously that is it's a bit like riding a bicycle around your living room especially in a
11:26track like this isn't it it literally is yeah but it's nice to see josh wainwright you know he was
11:30a
11:30really good you know he raced at the the top end of a club level even coming to you know
11:35junior super
11:36stop had a really good run there i raced against him all them years ago and um yeah talented guy
11:41and it's nice to see him back and i think he's going to be having the time of his life
11:45right
11:45around on the f900s and you know he's uh only going to get stronger as each with each session
11:50is each bit you know time he gets on the bike so fantastic see but yeah they do seem to
11:54be quite
11:55a compliant bike and an enjoyable bike to ride so there's hope for you tom i've got a set of
11:59levers
12:00here mate they might be a bit sweaty still but yeah i reckon we'll get you out even instructing
12:04on these things as well what when you when you are instructing on these bikes what are the uh you
12:08know the riders that are jumping on them what are they saying once they jump they love it yeah the
12:11f100 they love it it's a friendly bike you know i've actually had a couple of goes myself and
12:14yeah they are really good fun they're really compliant they're a nice um you know they're a nice
12:20fun bike to buy they're not going to rip your arms off like a superbike and try and kill you
12:24every
12:24single corner and um yeah they're a nice nice compliant bike is what i would say but while we were
12:29talking and waffling on about being uh compliant bobby varie's gone and done a 34.1 and he's opened
12:34up that guy mindry 34.7 nikki codes has responded with three laps to go yeah he has and uh
12:40he's
12:40closed that gap down to about half a second or so so you wonder where the coast was maybe just
12:43leaving
12:44something left in his locker to try and attack in the final stages of this race a good battle still
12:49continues on here between the likes of uh josh wainwright james higginson and you've got josh smith in the
12:54mix there as well as alex pierson who's again just sitting on the coattails of these riders as they come
12:58across the timing line to begin their third but last lap two laps two thirds distance now completed
13:04here at cabwell you see the momentum they're having to run through into coppice super slow-mo here of
13:11giovanni beliosi beliosi just on the fringes of the points positions at the moment most improved rider
13:17award he got uh last year and uh lots of prizes on offer here in the f900r cup and uh
13:25we'll see who is
13:26going to get awarded that at the end of the season meanwhile sharp end of this you've got josh corner
13:30who's sitting in third place bit of a way up the road now are nikki coates and bobby berry but
13:35very
13:35much in the same picture half a second separated them across the line and it looks like coates is
13:39now trying to just get the uh get the uh fishing rod out and try and reel in the race
13:46leader of bobby
13:46berry here you can see there danny three tenths quicker last time around yeah but look bobby's bobby has
13:51responded you know sector one and sector two he has gone green on our sector timings which means that he
13:56is on
13:56on for an improved lap so he's um not up for a best lap just yet but we're going to
14:00see what
14:01his response is now to nikki coates and you know this is good for them they're testing the limits
14:05they're testing how fast they can go let's see over the line what he does 34.8 he's still a
14:10tenth off
14:10but just goes to show you nikki coates is uh right there you go that's what i've got bobby berry
14:16responds
14:16and you know burrell and the other guys in in heat too we'll be watching this just thinking you know
14:20where do we need to be what sort of lap times do we need and as you said earlier tom
14:24barry loves it around
14:25here and uh you know he's a bit of a bigger guy i feel like this circuit always suits the
14:29bigger guy
14:30and um i think we're in for an exciting main event is that why you ended up making your return
14:34uh here at this circuit yeah 100 yeah but after 18 laps i'm kind of regretting that gravity bringing
14:39you back down on the mountain a little bit quicker maximum traction bobby very still leading there with
14:45a lap and a half to go responding to the advances of nikki coast despite the ulstermans challenge it looks
14:50like he's not going to be close enough to make anything stick at the moment unless very makes a mistake
14:55but
14:55uh josh corner keeping them honest there in third position as well about three seconds or so
14:59adrift but this is a good recovery nonetheless for josh corner spoke to him before the start of the
15:04race he said look qualifying didn't go our way it's full send in the race and that's exactly what
15:08he's done third position for him and a chance of course to get a good grid spot for the main
15:12event
15:13here tomorrow afternoon further our uh back down we look at the battle for sixth once again here you've got
15:19uh josh wainwright and james higginson still in the mix with one another we saw them a little bit
15:25earlier on and uh a very good one this is josh smith and james higginson who are squabbling four
15:31positions here just coming through in towards the second sector and of the chicane they'll go
15:37and towards the mountain nobody making any dandare moves at the moment but still a lap or so to go
15:43uh the sharp end of this one now we begin the final tour here with bobby berry and even further
15:49down doesn't really matter where you look in the pack there is action a plenty you've got uh james
15:53seath alex villa jordan ashington all in the mix here for the uh points positions on the fringes
15:59of the top 10. the good thing about this championship here danny as well is there's so many races of
16:03a
16:03weekend you get a really decent amount of track time yeah and um obviously yesterday for these guys it was
16:09wet so not a lot of time to dial in the bikes and you know get themselves ready for this
16:14race so
16:14a lot of them will just be trying to get you know start with a base or geometry on the
16:20bikes
16:20and build up from there but it's always interesting to see as well how fast the guys can go because
16:26they're going to change the bike now and you know hopefully try and improve the bike for tomorrow's
16:30races for the main event yeah it has been a tricky one as well because there's not been much dry
16:34track
16:34time for these lads this weekend because yesterday qualifying was an absolute washout lap times in the
16:39one minute 50s compared that to the sort of early to mid one minute 30 seconds that we've had here
16:43this afternoon so it's been a bit of a step into the unknown but bobby very in particular has really
16:48been able to take profit of things in this race he's built up the gap to nikki coates who have
16:53just
16:53backed off slightly going on to this final lap up to about two and a half seconds or so so
16:57he's quite
16:57happy to settle for second best with a comfortable cushion over josh corner 2.7 seconds the gap now
17:03sitting between these riders he's come through hall bends down in towards the hairpin for the final time
17:08just the last corner of barn will now await and it will be victory in the first heat for bobby
17:13very a great start to his weekend in the rocket off bmw f900r cup as he takes the checkered flag
17:19in
17:19commanding style ahead of nikki coates who tries to get his championship challenge back on track
17:24josh corner will complete the podium in third place and then quite a distance back is this man here
17:29liam bella who's had something of a quiet race on board the two strokes racing machine but the local
17:34lad from lincolnshire will come over the line with a season best finish of p4 in the first heat so
17:42he'll
17:42be pretty pleased with the results from that one as he takes the checkered flag and further down you've
17:47got the likes of josh wainwright uh josh smith james higginson in the mix there as well
17:53over the line they come and a hand being waved in the air for the number 16 of josh smith
17:59as he gets
17:59the better of uh james higginson at the checkered flag jordan ashington as well in front of james
18:06seath on this final lap alex vela will come over the line there in p11 and then you've got the
18:12likes of
18:12ben rubicki along with dickie walker and then beliossi will be the 15th and final rider to take the
18:18checkered flag just one dnf from that one crucially being christian smith the man who sits uh tied in
18:23the championship for second place so an opportunity really missed there for the elder of the two
18:28smith twins but bobby very a commanding race there won that one very convincingly yeah and that is
18:34exactly what christian smith didn't need to do you know he has to finish he has to get points and
18:39the likes of bobby very nikki coats you know and even josh corner there for the championship that is
18:45exactly what they needed to do so yeah a little bit of a tough one for christian and they're going
18:49to be hoping now there's beliossi finishing off straight across the line go on gino lovely stuff
18:55from giovanni beliossi there and uh yeah but they needed to finish that race you know and and score
19:00those points and they're going to hope that barry burrell is not going to score but i'm guessing he's
19:05going to be out there um fighting and trying to win this race yeah no doubt about it barry will
19:09be out
19:09in the second the heats coming up along the way in a couple of moments time he'll be on the
19:13front row
19:13of the grid for nikki coats a bit of a return to form there for the ulsterman on board the
19:18ldc bmw
19:20as he comes over the line in second place after that tip off he had in the main event
19:23at uh thruxton last time around uh giovanni beliossi i thought he was going to attempt to wheelie there
19:29i thought he was going to just uh drop the clutch but decides to uh do this guy loves motorbike
19:37racing
19:37you know what i mean he is out there you know he's finished last but he's having fun he's enjoying
19:42himself putting on a bit of a show for the crowd what a guy well if there's a bit of
19:45karaoke later
19:46he can dance along to it giovanni beliossi completing the points finishes then but he won
19:50for the f900r cup concludes with bobby very taking the checkered flag from nikki coats and
19:54josh corner liam bella in p4 ahead of josh wainwright good battle with the likes of josh smith and james
20:00higginton uh the checkered flag ahead of alex pearson jordan ashington and then james seath alex
20:06fella in p11 ahead of ben rubicki nick heath liam walker and then of course the dancing
20:10giovanni beliossi that we saw uh post the checkered flag there p15 christian smith crucially crashing
20:16out of second place how detrimental will that be to his championship challenge and indeed the
20:21remainder of his weekend here at cadwell park we'll wait to find out once heat two has concluded
20:30well the riders now on their cool down laps and also now down in park ferme as well there is
20:34bobby
20:35vary you see the number 59 on his leathers the number that he's competed with for the last couple
20:39of years here in the f900r cup changed over to the 88 this year and it seems to be bringing
20:44him good
20:44fortune c giovanni beliossi and uh well he's not going to be on strictly anytime soon with performances
20:51like that is he dances like you tom i saw you at the uh end of year party last year
20:56uh yeah the two
20:57left pretty sure you had to go uh pretty sure you had to go uh yeah i did you're right
21:01i know i'm glad
21:02glad that that's in the past let's go down to shaking shall we and catch up with our winner bobby
21:06very yeah that's enough about partying boys thank you very much we're down here to have a party with
21:10bobby very bobby that was uh that was a fantastic performance nice two and a half second gap there
21:14at the end pulled it home nicely yeah um i didn't know i had that sort of the lead on
21:19my board it said
21:20plus zero that was to keep you on your toes yeah i think it was i fall asleep if not
21:25you know
21:26but yeah after yesterday with um wet qualifying and everything and we had the dry session in the
21:31morning i just didn't think that i had it in me around here you know only wet but then it's
21:36turned
21:36out i'm going all right sounds like it's time to believe yeah that's it right yeah it's all right
21:42well onwards and upwards congratulations great performance all right cheers mate thank you
21:50well we'll see bobby again in the main event tomorrow we'll find out who joins him next heat two
21:54for the bmw f900r cup it's coming up a little bit of breaking news to bring you here at cadwell

22:07we get into our final race of the afternoon and that is that after the incident between ryan vickers and
22:13joe talbot in race one vickers has been up to uh face race direction who have handed him a three
22:22-point
22:22penalty on his license and three grip position penalty uh for tomorrow's race it means that
22:29ryan who had set the fastest lap of that race would have started on pole he's going to start fourth
22:33now
22:33tomorrow in race two and brad ray will bump up from second to pole position um all right we'll look
22:41forward to that tomorrow then uh but one more race to bring you here in the sunshine at cadwell this
22:44afternoon bmw f900r cup race
22:51yeah cheers man looking forward to this one a thriller of a first race a couple of moments ago
22:55time for heat two here at cadwell park kenny mccloud will be starting this one on pole position but
23:00incidentally in the wet qualifying yesterday he had two crashes one of which brought out the first of
23:05three red flags hopefully he's able to keep it a bit more shiny side up in the dry conditions at
23:10the
23:10this afternoon at camwell park it's been an interesting day's worth of action and we were
23:15expecting a bit of rain to hit but as we said it looks like it has just stayed away for
23:19the time
23:19being and we'll be set to do so until we conclude things so the cloud on pole position then with
23:23barry burrell the championship leader alongside kieran smith on the outside of the front road
23:27dave grace he'll head road two with jack tynan and then dale thomas another crasher in qualifying he'll
23:32be on the outside and then road three is headed by james dutton with reese coates harley prebble alongside
23:37then it's row four with joe carnell carl bayless who makes his debut in the championship ahead of
23:42leon wilton and then it's luke foreman christian slater and andy booth gary cutts completing the 16
23:47rider strong field here at cadwell well a reminder that no last chance qualifier here due to a slightly
23:54depleted grid compared to what we were expecting incidentally normally we'd have a 40 rider strong
23:58field for the main event it's always a bit shorter here at uh cadwell park due to the circuit's size
24:04limitations but uh 32 entries on the list here this weekend so no last chance to qualify all of
24:10them will qualify into the main event tomorrow afternoon and looking forward to seeing what is
24:14going to happen when the lights go out danny yeah i think we've got a few riders on the grid
24:18here tom
24:19who are going to be looking forward to riding around cadwell park with warm track temperature
24:23and not a cloud of rain in the sky although we did see earlier you know about 30 odd minutes
24:29ago
24:30hopefully the rain will pass us but there was a big rain cloud around so yeah fingers crossed i mean
24:34one man who will be looking forward to hopefully a little bit of a sprinkle would be kenny mcleod but
24:39hopefully it passes for us yeah despite despite the fact he had a couple of crashes in qualifying
24:43yesterday did manage to get the better in the wet conditions and qualify on pole position for the
24:48first time this season barry burrell there alongside him leader of the championship and the winner of this
24:54main event race here 12 months ago let's see how he will fare though in the dry conditions as the
24:59sun is
24:59beginning to set it's been a long wait for these riders they've been sat around all day waiting to go
25:03here now finally the green flag wave it's another eight lapper for the second heat of the rocket off
25:08bmw f900r cup here at cadwell park wait for the red lights to come on and the revs to rise
25:13lights are out and we're underway good start for mcleod nice one as well from burrell keep an eye out
25:17as
25:17well for kieran smith he's trying to challenge on the inside as they come up the rise into coverage for
25:21the first time smith with the inside line and with the whole shot as he takes the lead into turn
25:26one burrell into
25:27second mcleod relegated down into third place and it looks like dave brace has been able to hold
25:32on to fourth which is where he started on the grid through the right-hander down the park straight for
25:36the
25:36first time and a good opportunity into park corner to make any moves yeah dave grace got a mega start
25:41there and i'm not quite sure how he where he ended up into in turn one but he's just ahead
25:46of
25:46jack tynan there but uh yeah i mean kieran smith look burrell's just made you know straight away
25:52he's got in front of him he wants to try and get to the front you know barry barry likes
25:55to just
25:56have the track to himself and and click these laps off so kieran smith's got a very good um reference
26:02point in front of him now yeah let's see what the top three are going to do in this race
26:05are they
26:06going to be able to break away from the rest of the field we saw some splinter groups in the
26:09first
26:10heat a few moments ago if you didn't catch it we won't spoil the result for you but uh yeah
26:14there was
26:14quite a breakaway from the top three in that race in particular but burrell with the lead then in the
26:20midway points of this first lap and let's see whether he can really put the hammer down and
26:24create a buffer and a margin to kieran smith who sits there in second place over the mountain we go
26:30for the first time airborne as well for the 34 of kenny mcleod who as you can see is now
26:36in third
26:36position after having started on pole dave grace under pressure from the likes of dale thomas as well as
26:41jack tynan up the inside goes dale thomas into the hairpin sits up dave grace and i think dave might
26:47lose out to jack tynan and he does yeah that's naughty that is it's so one liney through you know
26:52after the bottom of the mountain it is all one line all the way to this part of the track
26:56now so
26:57to make a pass there you have to be a little bit aggressive and that's what he did there dale
27:01thomas and
27:01made it stick you know dave grace got caught napping yeah fairly early to be making aggressive moves like
27:07that was sort of a last lap lunge you'd normally see oh yeah that is yeah yeah you can see
27:13dave
27:13just had to sit up there sort of midway through the corner and that also opened the door for jack
27:17tynan it's a grace there on the outside there's the 96 of tynan who goes through and you can see
27:22already the top two breaking away from the likes of kenny mcleod in third place he was also holding
27:27his own quite nicely there dale thomas now into fourth and we'll see whether he can close down that 1
27:32.1
27:32second gap at the end of this first lap to uh the man who sits in third place here yeah
27:37dale thomas
27:38is you know over the last few rounds shown some uh significant improvements and you know thruxton
27:43especially he rode really well and you know he's now he's in a position at cadwell park completely
27:48different track to fruxton so he can have a good show in here that's going to show you know for
27:52the
27:52rest of the season some real confidence in his riding and if you can do it at fruxton you can
27:56do it
27:56anywhere you know like the likes of cadwell you pretty much should be all right at all tracks yeah we'll
28:01see
28:01what dale thomas will be able to do in this one as you say sitting in fourth place there with
28:04jack
28:04tynan keeping him quite honest behind tynan on board the rocket rookies machine the rider from
28:09berkshire 2025 last year his first season racing in nearly a decade he used to be uh racing at a
28:15club
28:15level at quite a high um level of it but so yeah jump back on a bike at the uh
28:20sort of mid stage of
28:20last season and he's been doing great things here in the f900r cup sitting inside the top five in this
28:26one last time out at thruxton he was p5 in the main event which was his season best
28:30result and now just sitting in the wheel tracks here of dale thomas as they begin their third lap
28:34yeah i feel like jack tynan's doing a good job but he needs to just break that little bit of
28:39a
28:39barrier that he's come up against and try and get himself to that next group of riders which is the
28:43likes of kieran smith you know barry burrell um or the smith twin sorry and those guys and bobby
28:49very and i feel like once he makes that step he'll be there that will unlock sort of the next
28:53level for
28:53him yeah burrell with the fast slap 1.1 seconds now the advantage he holds over christian smith
28:58of 34.4 so that's quicker than we saw uh last time out in the first heat so the pace
29:04a little
29:05bit faster here in this one not much for the price of barry burrell it's a track he knows well
29:09i went
29:09down and spoke to him before the start of this race and said look are you going to be competing
29:12in
29:13the whole season because he missed the season opener um at alton park earlier on this year and he said
29:17now the plan is now to do that because i've been saying for you know all the weekends oh yeah
29:21well
29:22maybe i'll do it maybe i won't i'm not really sure and then eventually he lodges in an entry but
29:26now
29:26he has committed to the remainder of this season i mean given the fact he's got a 23-point advantage
29:30in the championship danny it's a no-brainer isn't it yeah and it's good to have him here you know
29:33he's
29:33a reigning champ he's he missed the first uh the first race as you just said there tom and he
29:38was doing
29:38the tt so you know he was focused on that and rightly so and now he's here and why not
29:43do it you know
29:43we're gonna have some mixed weather condition races coming up and i think he's gonna um yeah
29:48obviously be there or thereabouts in the in the end of that championship but on the screen now
29:52we've got kenny mcleod has been caught by dal thomas dal thomas has led jack tynan to the back of
29:57him and uh i think they need to get past if they're going to try and catch the likes of
30:00kyle smith
30:01christian smith yeah kenny mcleod struggling then in these drier conditions about six tenths of a
30:06second slower than the two riders of thomas and tynan who were chasing him last time around over the line
30:11we go as we begin lap four out of eight the thing is getting close at this circuit is one
30:15thing
30:16getting past is quite another uh going fast though it's not a problem for barry burrell lap record
30:21pace for him 133.888 he is riding like he's left the gas on here isn't he yeah fantastic though
30:26to
30:27see i like it you know it's heat two you get to have a little look at what heat one
30:30are doing the
30:30lap times they're doing and he's come out here true dominating fashion and just said have that
30:34you know i'm here to win this championship and i like that yeah good stuff from barry burrell let's see
30:39what sort of advances you can feel before this race reaches its conclusion let's see what will
30:43happen for the final podium place a good run for kenny mcleod after qualifying on pole position here
30:49in the wet conditions but seems to be struggling a bit more with his pace in the drive dropped off
30:53the
30:53back quite quickly of the likes of uh smith and burrell at the sharp end of this one and is
30:58now coming
30:58under increasing pressure from these two riders behind the thing is for the likes of tynan and thomas
31:03they've got to be quite clever about how they play this one haven't they because if they get involved in
31:07their own squabble it's going to cost them time they're going to have to do that hard work all over
31:10again yes but equally if they can pass kenny mcleod they're in that top six inside the top six
31:15obviously you get your uh position for the main event pulled out of a hat so you know there's a
31:20lot
31:20to play for here obviously even the points in this heat as well thomas is not scared of passing
31:26anywhere look like he's going to have a go into hall benzer i think we're going to see his signature
31:29move
31:29here look yeah oh he's not gonna do it i think he's lining it up that was a dress rehearsal
31:35yeah trying to
31:36do wasn't he likes to make a bit of a block pass as we saw earlier on in the race
31:40on dave grace
31:41but can't quite make anything stick at this one maybe the slipstream and a good exit out of barn
31:45corner will help him along to the inside line into coppies corner he's got the inside line he'll
31:50try and go later on the brakes but it's so much easier to just run momentum on that wider sweeping
31:55line that kenny mcleod was holding through turns one and two the upshot is if it costs him a bit
32:00of
32:00time on the sort of middle part of that corner it will put him off line through turn two and
32:04then
32:04down the park straight it might open the door once again here for dale thomas to attack as they come
32:09over the rising towards park corner mcleod's gonna be wise to that one or is he because thomas has got
32:13the inside line he's got greater momentum he's later on the brakes and he does go through finally for
32:17third place runs it a bit deep but manages to hold the line enough yeah literally the perfect line there
32:22on the sit top straight white line on the inside straight to the white line on the outside got the
32:26gas down
32:27into criss curve with no um you know no mistake so fantastic tyner now is going to be looking and
32:33thinking i need to try and make that move look he's going to have a go into mansfield oh pulled
32:38it back
32:38there yeah it's so difficult to make a move going through into there's a little bit off camber as well
32:42and for jack tyner like you say he needs to make this move sooner rather than later because he'll know
32:47that dale thomas will be just streaking off into the distance and again all of that hard work he's done
32:51to close that gap down in this race he's going to have to do it all over again but he's
32:55not got the same
32:55amount of time left in this one someone who won't be worried about that is this man barry burrell
33:00who's leading now by 2.6 seconds lap record already in this race ahead of kieran smith smith as you
33:06can see there lapping about nine tenths of a second slower than the man who won this race last year
33:11yeah doing a great job kieran smith there in second place taking all the points that he needs to take
33:15right now you know um if you can't beat barry burrell take you know take second place behind him
33:20this battle here i really do feel like tynan's got to just make a move and it's so difficult
33:26around here to try and do that you you're relying on the person in front to kind of make a
33:29mistake
33:30and if they don't it makes life difficult yeah tynan's got the pace we've said that over the course of
33:34this one uh in terms of his lap times you know he's been lapping about six tenths of a second
33:39faster
33:39than kenny mcleod but i wonder if now kenny's got that carrot dangled in front of him danny from a
33:44psychological point of view he can see dale thomas and look he's coming back at him down the park straight
33:48we go
33:49in towards park corner he's got the inside line he's late on the brakes and he's back through for
33:53third place so he's just not giving it up no kenny's there basically he wants that third place you know
33:57as all the you know these three riders here they need that third place because it just gives you a
34:01better starting position because you could pull your pole position out of the hat and all of a sudden
34:05around cabwell park that is the place you need to be because when you start you know if you start
34:09off
34:09well it's very difficult track to overtake as we keep talking about and um yeah for me you need to
34:14be
34:14inside the top three yeah reminder that the top three finishes in each of the heats are the top
34:18six positions on the grid tomorrow they're not decided at this point it's decided by uh basically
34:23picking numbers out of a hat so we don't know how the front two rows will line up here for
34:28the
34:28rocket off f900r cup main event at cabwell park but being inside the top three will of course give you
34:33that opportunity if you're fourth and downwards uh you're not going to have that chance and only one of
34:37these three riders will have the opportunity let's have a look then at some super slo-mos here from
34:42barry burrell over the mountain not quite as airborne as yourself db no but smooth and you know smooth
34:48he's fast over there and good job keep the wheel on the floor and just drive up over it yeah
34:53fantastic
34:53part of the circuit and you know a fantastic part of what british super bikes is yep it's been an
34:57exhibition
34:58so far here from barry burrell on board that halliwell jones bmw five seconds now the advantage he has
35:03over kieran smith the question remains is anybody gonna be able to catch him once all is said and
35:08done and we get that 32 rider strong field for the main event there is kieran smith in the background
35:15further down you've got uh andy booth who is sitting in last position at the moment just outside of the
35:21points in 16th place and uh moving his way around lovely livery on that bike i think he's changed i'm
35:29sure he was with the true heroes racing guys before and he's uh it looks like he's gone for a
35:33different
35:33livery on this this bike this weekend yeah i was wondering i didn't recognize it initially there
35:38but but like you say he's got some some orange on there and some blue it's uh it almost looks
35:42a bit
35:42reminiscent of the old crow performance bmws actually similar sort of color scheme to that
35:47anyway over the mountain on some riders are about to come i'm sure barry burrell it is that's still
35:51leading here he is making his way over it oh there we go he's just toying with them now isn't
35:56he he's
35:56getting the front wheel up in the air and just enjoying his racing out there on track yeah and that's
36:00exactly what it's all about around here you know he's out front he's got massive lead he's done a
36:0433.8 five and a half seconds probably six seconds on this lap and you know he's enjoying himself and
36:09this is the battle we all want to see you know last lap this is going to be uh dal
36:13thomas into the
36:14hairpin it's just about you know i don't want it i don't want it i wouldn't want it yeah i
36:19wonder if
36:19there might be a bit of a dress rehearsal but ultimate lap we're on for these riders at the final
36:22app is what barry burrell has just begun uh quite a way up the road but the final position on
36:27the podium and
36:27indeed the final position uh to be decided by the ballot on the grid in the top two rows will
36:33be
36:33decided uh depending on who finishes in third place here at the moment it's kenny mcleod but dale thomas
36:38is going to try and challenge down the start finish straight inside line late on the brakes and into
36:42coppers let it off runs the momentum through manages to get the line back and does take over
36:47third position from the former pole sitter of kenny mcleod question is can he hold it until the end of
36:54this race down the park straight we go in towards park corner this is where we saw mcleod managing
36:58to fight back against dale thomas last time around thomas knows that goes for a defensive line
37:02mcleod is late late late on the brakes can he get it slowed down and stopped though he can and
37:07it
37:07doesn't allow dale thomas to retaliate and get back through into chris curve yeah i think dale thomas
37:14is going to be fancying his chances either into mansfield in the second he's not quite close
37:18enough at the goose neck just yet let's have a look i think he's going to have a little go

37:22into mansfield no look kenny mcleod's defended the line there i think we're going to see it into the
37:25hairpin tom yeah let's see whether dave grace got it yeah exactly yeah dave grace had that at the
37:30start of this race will we see kenny mcleod coming into pressure for it at the end of this one

37:35a wiggle of the hips there for dale thomas as he comes through the chicane in towards the mountain
37:39section for the final time to define the final podium placed here in heat two for the f900r cup over

37:46browse at the hill we go oh to the grass goes kenny mcleod that opens the door for dale thomas
37:51to walk
37:51through as a wheelie for barry burrell to the line he's absolutely busted here at cabwell park he takes
37:57a commanding win in heat two of the f900r cup from kieran smith and then dale thomas is going to
38:04get
38:04the final podium place kenny mcleod well he did lucky to stay on there because it's been raining this
38:09weekend the grass is probably still a little bit damp over the line he will come in fourth place ahead
38:14of
38:14jack tyner completing the top five finishes there but a dramatic end to that one for the final place
38:20on the podium and this is a super slow-mo of how it nearly went so wrong for kenny mcleod
38:25he just goes
38:26off to the left you're gonna see dale thomas on the inside kenny mcleod on the left look he just

38:30over to the left his his left and he just touches that grass oh that was not nice jack tyden

38:37little bit of a little bit of mud flicked up at him there but yeah kenny mcleod did a fantastic
38:42job there to
38:42hold on and even hold on to fourth place the problem is and it may sound a bit obvious to
38:46say it but once you're in the air obviously you can't steer the bike so you took off took off
38:51at
38:51the wrong trajectory exactly and then was just a passenger until he had to sort of gather it up and
38:56do a bit of motor crossing uh before he settled for fourth place meanwhile barry burrell i mean we're
39:03running out of superlatives to describe this man's season he has absolutely dominated things 23 point
39:07leading the championship uh he has had uh going into this weekend four out of five main event wins
39:13this season and a commanding win here again in heat one yeah and come on guys you've got to all
39:20you know
39:20they've got to they've got to find something they've got you know take this fight to barry because
39:24at the minute they're making it easier for him yeah andy booth about to get over the line there tom
39:30yeah
39:3113th uh for him and it'll be 16th at the checkered flag for andy booth then as he completes the
39:38finishes here at cadwell park and uh he'll be in the main event tomorrow and he'll be lining up from
39:45the very back of the field as a result of finishing p16 but nonetheless being in the main event and
39:49competing with some of these riders is all great experience uh here in the f900r cup for dale thomas p3
39:56for
39:57him and a chance to get himself on maybe the front row of the grid maybe pole position who knows
40:02how
40:02that ballot is going to go but uh third place it's the all-important position that you want to be
40:07finishing uh here in this one top two rows decided by a ballot and that's the top three finishes in
40:13each
40:13of the races so dale thomas will be a part of that ballot as will this man here barry burrell

40:19i like that dale thomas push into the end you know didn't give up and uh yeah i like that
40:24i've got a lot
40:24respect for it well barry burrell then talking to steve plater and a bit of a discussion going on

40:39half cup the second heat it's burrell who takes a commanding win 5.8 seconds in front of kieran smith
40:44and dale thomas kenny mcleod lucky to stay on board but finishing p4 once all was said and done ahead

40:54over the line in p8 ahead of james dutton and then joe carnell completing the top 10 luke foreman
40:59carl bayliss on his debut ahead of christian slater no relation to the actor i assume the head of leon
41:04wilton gary cutts and then andy booth on board the arv racing machine completing the finishes
41:14well barry burrell continues where he left off at thruxton a couple of weeks ago and will anybody
41:20able to stop him in the main event tomorrow we'll wait and find out but for now let's go down

41:37very easy look super simple i mean that looked like a bit of a little stroll in the park for

41:42better word yeah to be honest just it's what a place to ride around i mean been waiting around
41:47all day to ride my bike and uh yeah just love the place just love riding around and it just
41:51they probably don't look it but it's actually a real nice bike to ride and just really enjoying it
41:55at the minute so if i'm being honest i expected cream to kind of come with me um so i
41:59pushed on
41:59and start to try and break them and it worked so uh broken enough just to be able to do
42:03a wheelie
42:03across the line at the end there that was quite cool too uh main event tomorrow morning uh tomorrow
42:07afternoon obviously how are you feeling for that yeah pretty confident the thing is with these
42:11obviously the lower horsepower bikes the slipstream can come into make a big part of the race really
42:17so it could drag people into my pace i won't let them sound like big ed but i feel i've
42:21got a better
42:21pace than everyone else at the minute i'll know they'll catch up tomorrow and the slipstream will
42:25help them with that so yeah the aim will be to just break them at the start and um see
42:29where we end up

43:00you hope then you just miss the people who are turning in the corners nobody wants to knock anybody off
43:04look he's apologizing there to to uh poor uh joe tolba who was having a good ride by the way
43:11uh for a rookie however ryan would have expected something i don't think i think he'd take it on
43:16the chin he's got three points on his license grid position penalty of three points he's still on the
43:20front row he's still going to be on the second or actually if you guys are okay okay yeah he
43:25would
43:25have been on pole obviously but yes he's gonna be fourth yeah so brad brad nudges up to uh pole
43:30yeah uh with a bit of ground to recover himself after you know his misfortune today yeah again
43:36he got sucked in a little bit he's claimed a few uh house park uh this weekend already the problem
43:41is
43:41you you just takes it missing your breaking point or pushing it on by a couple of feet three feet
43:47pushes into the corner that means you've got to carry a little bit more break as you go in
43:51and there's a bump the change of time right as you go in that caught him out unlucky okay uh
