00:00:02welcome to bishop's court yeah in the rain unfortunately on sunday morning not so great
00:00:41hello and welcome to county down in northern ireland for the classic bike festival ireland
00:00:46established in 2018 the events is the largest track-based motorcycle event in the country
00:00:51held each august at the bishop's court circuit
00:00:58it's organized by former motorcycle road racer philip mccallan an 11-time winner at both the
00:01:03isle of man tt and northwest 200 the 2026 event has attracted over 200 machines
00:01:09but what we've done here we're appealing to the two customers we're appealing to the the modern
00:01:14super bike man the super sport man and then we're going for the classic veteran who's been around
00:01:19for many years you know so when you're talking about a kenny roberts bike a barry sheen bike
00:01:23freddie spencer bike those bikes still appeal to a lot of people but to young people they don't even
00:01:28know who freddie spencer is you know so we've got the storm stacy's we've got the kyle ride we've got
00:01:34rory skinner so we have got the best of the british feel here which is like unbelievable
00:01:41the event features two-wheeled icons in the world of grand prix world super bikes bsb
00:01:46and of course road racing
00:01:52former grand prix star steve parrish is here showcasing a 1975 suzuki rg 500 the one that
00:01:58barry sheen wrote for a maiden 500 cc victory at that year's dutch grand prix
00:02:06i'm absolutely loving it i mean there's such a wonderful collection of bikes here factory
00:02:10decatis factory suzuki lucky strikes kevin swanson's bike randy mamola's bike barry sheen's bike
00:02:15and i'm going to be riding one on that one here uh yeah huge collection of lovely bikes you know
00:02:20my
00:02:20first time ever at bishop's court can't believe it no one can believe i've never been here before but
00:02:24i'm really impressed with the circuit it just seems underutilized as far as i can see it's better than
00:02:29some of the bsb circuits that you go to so yeah really looking forward to having to run around in
00:02:34a minute but i need to be very careful because that bike is worth a fortune i've actually got one
00:02:39of my
00:02:39own very similar but i much prefer riding other people's because if it goes wrong he's not listening is it
00:02:44then i don't have to mend it as well as the stars of yesteryear the classic bike festival
00:02:50also attracts many stars of today including british superbike rider rory skinner from scotland
00:03:01you know i'm walking around the panic just the smell of all you know abgas castro 747 you know it
00:03:07smells of the past you could say it's before my time i grew up in a workshop with my dad
00:03:11my whole life and
00:03:11yeah two strokes and motorbikes really been a part of my childhood so yeah this is this is awesome
00:03:16i'm loving it i'm right in my element here and yeah so far didn't walk the lap of the track
00:03:20last
00:03:21night ready to spin some laps today and yeah it looks really good i'm excited to get out that is
00:03:26my
00:03:26personal bike i own that bike and i just love it you know there's something raw about riding a two
00:03:30stroke it's you do you get just this real sense of i think accomplishment when you nail a section you
00:03:36know
00:03:36four strokes today you can just open the throttle on a thousand any gear and you're gonna pull pretty
00:03:40hard out of it whereas in 250 you gotta be writing that little band of power you know 500 rpm
00:03:45to get
00:03:45it right and it just it just works you know it's just it's nice it's rewarding and i love it
00:03:50i think
00:03:50i almost enjoy prepping the bike and maintaining it as much as what i do when it comes to actually
00:03:54riding it as well it's just so yeah it's just nice for me i'm just uh fortunate i can get
00:03:58it
00:03:58get around my 250 and uh yeah it's not something i get to do too often so make the most
00:04:02of it
00:04:03enjoy the atmosphere and yeah have a good time at the festival
00:04:10also from the british championship staffordshire rider storm stacy a recent winner at the northwest 200.
00:04:18to ride these uh these classic bikes and coming off fun is what it's all about and and i'm riding
00:04:25three different bikes here and it's also good for bike fitness me just constantly riding bikes i want
00:04:30to ride bikes as much as i can this allows me to come and do that as well riding the
00:04:34tz 250 350 and
00:04:36then the r6 as well in the super sport race i've got a lot on i'm going to sleep well
00:04:41all weekend but
00:04:42it's going to be hard changing between the three bikes and maybe it wouldn't be at my best if i
00:04:45was
00:04:46just at one bike so it'll be interesting to try and see how fast i can adapt and jump onto
00:04:50them but it
00:04:51definitely make you a better rider as well because you feel the differences and what's better on what what's
00:04:55better there so it's uh it's good it should be fun it's the sense of no health and safety smoking
00:05:02before
00:05:03you go out having a fag drinking the night before everyone partying having a good time
00:05:09not too long ago couple maybe 10 years ago people at bsb would stay on a sunday night
00:05:14have hot tubs at the motorhomes and stuff and have a party and enjoy themselves everyone can't wait to
00:05:20leave on a sunday night now it's all changed so much so when you ride these classic bikes it gives
00:05:25you a glimpse of what fun used to look like also competing in the same class as stacy and skinner
00:05:34will be double british superbike champion kyle ride yeah for me last year the whole deal of coming
00:05:45uh was if my dad could ride as well because he loves he loves riding bikes and obviously he has
00:05:50to watch me and do my pit board every weekend and i know how much he loves it so i
00:05:54think uh he's very
00:05:56lucky as well obviously everyone uh fastline super bikes kev louch everyone looks after my dad as well
00:06:01so thanks to them and yeah this weekend is very special not only do i get to race a bike
00:06:06that i love
00:06:06racing but i get to watch my dad ride as well like you've seen on video so uh yeah hopefully
00:06:10you can have
00:06:11a good weekend same as me and uh yeah should be good for me this is just a massive bonus
00:06:15uh makes me
00:06:17wish that i was born in a different era because i do like riding these two strokes so uh yeah
00:06:22compared
00:06:23to last year my dad's now riding the bike i rode last year and i've got a little upgraded version
00:06:27thanks to kev louch at stanford so yeah great bike i've only done one session and broke the lap record
00:06:32already so it's a great bike and yeah hopefully everyone can have a good safe ride would go on to
00:06:36win saturday's 250 race setting a new lap record in the process
00:06:47on modern machinery king of the roads contender mike brown is competing on the russell racing yamaha
00:06:52r6 the killer residence also an established short circuit exponent
00:07:00look it's only just here for a run out there's no pressure it's a bit of crack we uh we
00:07:05had a few
00:07:05points in the bar last night and i just here to enjoy it and uh watch all the older bikes
00:07:09as well
00:07:09uh well i think i have one of the best uh maybe the more modern classic bikes out for a
00:07:14few parade laps
00:07:15today the joy done laps 250 that's uh the one that's on the wall in the bar we're getting a
00:07:20few laps
00:07:20and that today and tomorrow so that should be good i'm looking forward to it and uh riding the 250
00:07:24around here would be pretty cool too joining the russell racing team for this event is linkages harry
00:07:34true love a front runner in the british super sport championship it's been good so far i've had a few
00:07:41track walks and had a look around and tried to get myself familiar with it but um just looking forward
00:07:45to
00:07:45going well it's a little bit of both because i want to try and you know i know that the
00:07:49storm stacy
00:07:49and coops is here as well so i know adam as well adam brown's going to be here and he's
00:07:53you know not
00:07:54slow so i need to try and hook my game a little bit and try and keep up with them
00:07:57but i just like riding
00:07:59so i'm just here for a good crack to be honest yeah yeah i mean you don't really get big
00:08:03events like
00:08:03this with both bikes all messing together they do have the classic bike championship over there which is
00:08:08how i started racing but yeah no it's good to see all the classic bikes and people are enthusiastic about
00:08:14the whole spectrum of it i don't really know what times are good here or whether i'll gel with the
00:08:18track but
00:08:20yeah just try and have a good time and enjoy it and see what comes while nottingham's richard
00:08:26cooper was the winner of saturday's super sports encounter come sunday changeable conditions would
00:08:31add an additional challenge but that has then dampened the spirits ahead of the opening race of
00:08:35the day for the pre-73 classic and 125 gp machines

00:08:50yeah good day on saturday but the rain has come overnight 33 there so ready to go as we see
00:08:56the grid
00:08:56for the opening race yeah kahl graham on the pole storm stacy steve bowman killed there padrick graham
00:09:02row one buster lloyd and then we got barry davison familiar and richard pierce jones and jamie lyons
00:09:07row two here we go and like he said dampy sort of conditions dry at the moment the circuit just
00:09:12a
00:09:12little bit damp it's a big field isn't it away we go wow five across the rows as well because
00:09:17there's so
00:09:18many riders in this and so many different classes but it's 33 they're making the break at the front
00:09:23yeah andy killed here in there too we got that second place in the superbike race the classic
00:09:27superbike race in the risen armoy road races and he killed here well he did lead he did briefly yeah
00:09:32on the 750 and then he got absolutely blitz there i think it's kyle graham who might have gone to
00:09:38the
00:09:38front yeah number 33 also in there as well on the tz yamaha sounds good and looks good as well
00:09:43on the 33
00:09:44bike really richard pierce jones look at these big big field big class such a a mixture of machines
00:09:50everything 125s and andy killed here that's a big 920 big norton i think he's on isn't it from memory
00:09:55it's a great circuit there's a richard pierce jones we saw on king of the roads here at amatra
00:09:59in finland a month or so ago so he's been plenty busy this summer good to see some of these
00:10:04classic
00:10:04bikes out with the modern stuff so he was on norton and he killed here it was a honda 750
00:10:08of that good
00:10:08battle of course with andy hornby and there's a move being made at one of the chicanes so tight the
00:10:13circuit
00:10:13and the chicanes but the first part of the circuit down the main straight is uh really really really really
00:10:19wide but at the front he's away off top man isn't he 23 cahill graham's away but second place here
00:10:24we
00:10:24go off the start malcolm love on the t20 250 classic bike look how busy it is oh dear me
00:10:31you just see
00:10:32there how wide it gets and they get to the first corner here at brox the left hand they're going
00:10:36to
00:10:36go in and the circuit then narrows up a little bit but he's got a good lead already hasn't he
00:10:4023
00:10:41cahill graham and it's padrick graham right behind him so the two grahams together here the tombbridge riders
00:10:47pair of them and now first and second padrick making up lots of time after the poorish start
00:10:52just picking up steve bohm there in about sixth and seventh place he's on a lovely yamaha tz 350
00:10:56and i love it when these classic festivals and these machines just get pulled out of the shed
00:11:02that is so tight into there and you still see the dampness coming up onto the camera there now as
00:11:06they go into brox then they go to ireland agor and then they have to break for the hairpin here
00:11:11at the
00:11:11bishops court national circuit this is only 1.824 miles you think andy kildea on that 51 bike
00:11:16of course there he's riding that honda 750 he will be he'll have the legs on some of these slower
00:11:21machines but again these little one two fives so nippy in this sort of section of the circuit into
00:11:25deegan's at the fairways one and to fairways two but this is the final part of the circuit there now
00:11:30they're already through a ring wadi through dunsport and back on the start catching up here padrick
00:11:34is catching car hall of the graham the battle of the grahams and they're also catching traffic now
00:11:39like i said there's only 1.824 miles and they're catching up aaron stanforth there he's on a yamaha
00:11:44machine oh goodness me he's got past him chris oh fantastic countryside setting here in
00:11:50jam patrick as well it is a beautiful part of the world it really really is i've been there one
00:11:54time
00:11:55there's 984 uh that's aaron larkin he's a retirement unfortunately and into the paddy but
00:11:59back of the front two of them are now together he's caught really caught up quickly there because
00:12:04he dropped a lot of time on the opening lap to padrick and now he's caught cattle in this battle
00:12:08of the graves having a look as well around the outside they're going around the outside of somebody
00:12:12and that's giving him the opportunity to close right in as they go over the line out onto another
00:12:16lap and that's 902 cane bell and his honda 350 machine just in behind there and you just see
00:12:21the deterioration of track and easel to you and me chris the oil flag up but they're together
00:12:25grabs the lead they're so so similar on speed these two but oh goodness me a lot of traffic here
00:12:31three into one don't go 70 77 177 14 and 33 all in they're just 177's jamie lyons
00:12:39and he's come out ahead of that after all the skirmishing what a bit of fun this is and they're
00:12:43all
00:12:43looking over at each other to go along the start and finish straight as well aaron stanforth on 14 it
00:12:48is
00:12:48as the two grahams it's uh are still continuing this battle padrick seems to have a little bit
00:12:54more speed but they've been amongst so much traffic it's a constant issue for them the road racing
00:12:59regular mark johnson on 46 has just been lapped by those guys i'm sure the circuit commentator
00:13:03our friend gareth keys i'm sure he's having a bit of fun with this little lot absolute ball there's so
00:13:08many different classes in here and so many different types of machine for the crowd the variance is
00:13:13amazing we're heading out on to the final lap and the two grahams are continuing to have their ding
00:13:18dong battle yeah in and out of the chicanes they go oh he's catching up on him he's trying to
00:13:22get the
00:13:22wider line to run it through the far end of the circuit there now two more machines just ahead
00:13:26there just didn't catch a number is it going to be 35 is it going to be 23 where's he
00:13:30going to have
00:13:30a look at it there's not much left in this race at all they're coming up yeah not allowed one
00:13:35to go
00:13:35the inside oh cowl's gone up the inside it's a race to the line here who's going to get it

00:16:56the zxr 750 or 21 aaron armstrong rolls into his position the allemand steampacket race two i like
00:17:03the big bikes you know on the gp250s boy they're good they are indeed there's a varied array as well
00:17:07lots of these riders have not come out to play kyle rydstrom facing rory skinner kyle graham and
00:17:12richard armstrong along across the front row yeah conditions not the best a little bit damp on the
00:17:16foot as they say but we're away and it's nine four two with a good start there richard armstrong
00:17:20and his yamaha r6 gonna belt it and we got number three i think there is a retirement i just
00:17:25saw
00:17:25in the background aaron staniford he's a retirement he might have just said paddled away at the end there
00:17:30but back at the front number 21 he's got back to the front yeah that's aaron armstrong yeah where's
00:17:35he from aaron he was on the front of the second row he's from lisneske excellent what a great name

00:17:40see going through there as well one that one is a harry maca lease he of course on the suzuki

00:17:52contention in races today and across the weekend so he's having a good weekend here at bishop's court
00:17:56c45 there lee osprey here of course their supersport champion again on the irish roads this year good
00:18:01rider is lee really is class rider and you know what perfect for this class the little machine is on
00:18:06the r6 machine little r66 it's under the what's your classic super sport machine that we're going
00:18:13to obviously see at the max grand prix in a couple of weeks with that brand new class mixed in
00:18:16with
00:18:17the 250s there and look at the conditions kicking up spray on they oh it's filthy isn't it but uh
00:18:22racing goes on short circuit stuff and the guys are out there putting on a show just in behind
00:18:27uh lee osper there was nine three five johnny allen and there's honda rs 250 with that the front 21
00:18:32seems
00:18:33to be stealing the march doesn't he aaron armstrong that kawasaki looks fantastic doesn't it as well
00:18:37absolutely fantastic but 942's got back on the back of him isn't he on 942 there he's got the
00:18:42big look at the inside there don't be doing that into brox goodness me so fast through there and now
00:18:47they're going to flick the bike to the right hand side and they'll head toward uh island of gore and
00:18:51then they head towards larchwood and then drop down to the hairpin it looks in great condition the circuit
00:18:56doesn't it there's a lot of work going into this bishop's court circuit that's for sure there's
00:19:00rumors about them trying to get uh attract bsb at some point yeah that's great that's great if they
00:19:05do that howard selby there's a name for the past howard selby on 24 he's on the gsxr slingshot
00:19:10machine so that's an old one that is richard love there at the front of that group on a 600
00:19:14honda
00:19:14we got a bit of traffic coming up now for 21 and nine he's not afraid of the brakes there's
00:19:19a bit for
00:19:19the lead for the bambridge man but no he's got to take the outside line he's not quite able to
00:19:23do it
00:19:2436 just in there that's uh keith millen on the yamaha tz 250 three or four different classes in
00:19:29there and this battle still rages on doesn't it it's about a padre graham the third of those
00:19:33on 35 and at the front it's uh who we got i think it's steven love possibly yeah just in
00:19:38behind
00:19:38steven there was lee osprey gone on the 45 but 21 and 942 put on a great show here aaron
00:19:44armstrong
00:19:44on 21 and richard armstrong on 942 not sure if they're related or not do you think they might be
00:19:49yeah richard armstrong's from banbridge yeah so he's uh been pushing on there he's had a couple
00:19:55of goes at getting to the race lead hasn't been able to make it stick just yet yeah the other

00:19:59from lynn the sky as you're saying 35 that tz 250 yamaha i can see in 35 the green plates
00:20:04and the
00:20:05different shape of the 935 you've seen the rs 250 the single-sided swinging on as you get to the
00:20:10far end
00:20:10of the circuit there now one of those in these conditions my word as soon as the taps open up
00:20:16and
00:20:16power valve kicks in oh goodness me especially on the yamahas 91 and 242 they oh they're pretty
00:20:22clear but this battle here is going on what a move by that tz yamaha that is a bit of
00:20:26class there from
00:20:27number 35 good good riding by padre graham he's a class little rider isn't he doesn't he goes really
00:20:32well around here doesn't he particularly i've only been there once commentary on it once before at the
00:20:36the sunflower races many many i would sell we there on 24 at the front of those howard selby's a
00:20:41well-known
00:20:41name he's on that suzuki slingshot 942 he's having oh no no no no that's not going to help oh
00:20:47goodness
00:20:49you don't do that in the wet but you know right across the front of him but i don't think
00:20:52he even
00:20:52knew he was there i tell you what i thought he was going to talk the front i really really
00:20:56did they're
00:20:57now on the far end of the circuit they'll be heading back towards us at the at the start and
00:21:00finish line there now but 21 this is the last lap of course of the spin it around there now
00:21:04both looking
00:21:05really racy oh look at the rear of that r6 just squatting under power is it going to be 21

00:21:11going to be 942 there's the flag off chris close again one tenth of a second another really close
00:21:16finish as aaron armstrong on the kawasaki beach richard armstrong on the yamaha then harry mccleese

00:21:27okay so we're here with aaron armstrong just after winning the classic superbike race aaron how is that for
00:21:32you yeah yeah it was good we raised now steady away lucky enough to come away with the win there

00:21:41do the travel now this weekend i know you're having a couple of issues with the bike overheating this
00:21:45weekend and you're nursing around but uh richard was hot on your heels during that race but uh you got
00:21:50the better from the end you closed the door yeah thankfully i've seen the pit board the whole race
00:21:54a point zero all the way and luckily i held him off the whole race after the break there's more

00:24:47wheels four-time allemand tt winners ryan and callum crowe are here in their first competitive
00:24:52outing since their crash at this year's event ever since the day went wrong we're looking forward to
00:24:59getting back in so you know it's been good and everything seems to be going well so it seems to
00:25:03go smoothly if you ask me three weeks ago am i going to be on a bike i'd say no
00:25:07but no it's uh
00:25:09it's getting better every day and each week is big improvements and it's just uh yeah just build the
00:25:15muscle back up now and get it get it full full fitness again but it's an awesome little circuit
00:25:20to play around on it's quite uh there's no rest around here if you know what i mean it's a
00:25:25very good
00:25:25little circuit it's still very fast but then it's quite uh technical as well at the same time
00:25:34driver ryan also took the opportunity to try the new passenger who's far more familiar with two-wheel
00:25:40competition well this is the craziest thing i've done in 40 years 40 years ago i had a ride in
00:25:47the
00:25:48potter sidecar and it was a nightmare today for me it's just been a bad dream you know it was
00:25:54a dream i
00:25:55wanted but like i had to have a goal and i'm okay i'm hard to slow down a little bit
00:25:59but the g-force is
00:26:01when this man takes it right and takes it left you know i'm older now and that's what i used
00:26:06to be
00:26:06but you need to hang on you just would disappear like that so i can only imagine what it's like

00:26:32bishop's court here they are not on pole position however it is uh dylan lynch and killian rogers on
00:26:38pole and then on the second row we've got derrick lynch and anton mcdonald and wayne locky and ben
00:26:43bins and we've got tony willis in harran terry o'reilly mark gosh darren hope lenny bumfrey franny
00:26:47newton and abby rogers on row number four sidecars three-wheel sidecars i know i said before it's a
00:26:53quite a wide circuit it's still quite tight and you get two or three sidecars and the crow boys
00:26:57look that they've got a good start i talked to one of their team after the crash they said the
00:27:00outfit
00:27:01wasn't as badly damaged as he thought it was going to be but they're already streaming into the lead
00:27:05they are indeed some of these are the long bikes some of them short bikes so some might be 600
00:27:09some might be thousands but there's moves happening already yeah i think that was uh dwayne locky and ben
00:27:14benzer got overtaken there for the yeah but we're on board of ryan and callum crowe there now i'm
00:27:18getting how he fits himself in there i think you know there's a move coming up the inside and there
00:27:23we go i think we're gonna have a new race leader at the hairpin we are great move yeah by
00:27:2646.

00:28:02sidecars for so many years in northern ireland southern ireland there have been but these two lynchers lynch
00:28:08outfits are the predominant force now in irish sidecar racing always up there battling for race
00:28:13victories it's amongst three legs on the helmet of ryan crowe that leads the race and they're
00:28:17quite a healthy lead already boards you know 45 and 46 they will put on a good show and they're
00:28:22great
00:28:22to see wayne locky i know a lot of these guys obviously didn't get to run at the tt didn't
00:28:26get
00:28:26to run at the southern under back we are on board the number 45 chris getting that power down the
00:28:31passenger with the weight over that rear wheel it was 114 yeah great start for wayne locky and ben binns
00:28:36but then they got lynched literally as they went into her brox there we saw that on the earlier show
00:28:41but back in the front though the crows not having it their own way are they they're not but it's

00:28:44much drier well as we say a drier line they're kicking up water again now so maybe not but these

00:29:53it left and then they're going to flick it left again and then flick it right and they'll come
00:29:56back towards us there's the three outfit of scoby killer and there's simon mython on their baker
00:30:01machine tony baker 69 overtaking them there tony willis and ian harran making a move on their lcr yamaha
00:30:07that's a long bike do you remember the long bikes at the tt way back yeah just briefly yeah they

00:30:13them obviously in the in the world championship and stuff like that as well 46 getting it a bit
00:30:17sideways the passenger look how he's working the weight there now look at that just that left foot

00:31:45got wet tires or they've got slick tires there's nothing in the middle for sidecars at all one or
00:31:50the other make your pick and go with it all a little bit of yeah bodywork damage there i think
00:31:5421 there's eugene kettle and philip gracie they're going to get the treatment any second he has to get
00:31:59passed because lynch is in behind him lynch's going to get passed as well they're on that little short
00:32:03back straight that they've got in the circuit that is such a great shot you can see how callum's
00:32:07having to work that outfit into the left into the right there and then flick it over to the
00:32:10right this will test his fitness oh it certainly will i know they've got a bit of a knock at
00:32:14the
00:32:14tt oh my goodness me he's right on him chris and they've got three outfits to negotiate only a
00:32:18couple of corners to go here yeah i don't think it's going to matter lots of traffic though they're
00:32:23going to catch this traffic before the end of the lap before the checkered flag here it comes yeah
00:32:27they've got clear look how wide it is they've got plenty of room ryan and callum they take the race

00:32:48and fantastic performance over today and yesterday um how are you feeling yeah good uh shoulders still a bit
00:32:55sore from the injuries but uh other than that i feel good i just need to rest it a little

00:35:13pool there's still still a few puddles knocking around not perfect condition here at bishops court

00:35:40conditions came through the race day he excelled yeah two bp he was closing in though yeah 33 yeah
00:35:46that's still adding brown he's keeping them honest not too bad lap speeds what sort of lap times
00:35:50you're doing boy not obviously on lap record pace are we no we're up in like we're in the 1
00:35:55.13's
00:35:55at the moment that's not bad is it considering you can see some lighter sky hopefully you can come
00:35:59through on the peninsula there where bishops course is it's right near the sea literally it's right
00:36:04near the sea if you go to the other side of the peninsula you have kirkeston and the two circuits
00:36:08not too far away from each other right well you can see the heads are right down here now
00:36:14for these front three just stepping away a little bit from the rest yeah koops i think he's just got
00:36:20to the lead there there he goes into the front the bpe by russell racing yamaha they've both got the
00:36:24dark advisor on just a little bit wider there from mike brown oh mike brown just flicks the bike to

00:36:29left flicks the bike to the right and here's the move no don't think he's going to make that stick
00:36:32they better be careful though because hadn't brown is keeping the watch he's right with them
00:36:36right with them doing riding brilliantly yeah definitely on the wedge you can see the wet
00:36:40tire there now you can see the big grooves in the middle look at the conditions they absolutely need
00:36:44it it's not very nice not very nice of the two deagons there now and then a little squirt then

00:36:54and heading towards their fairways two and then ring these two which tangle at all brown is there to pick

00:37:31he was wincing the other week at armoy when koops obviously made his debut there as well
00:37:35winning debut and rode fantastically and everywhere he's been he's been to scarver as a debutant at the
00:37:39start of the year we saw him on king of the roads and he was winner there he's been having
00:37:43a fantastic
00:37:44summer he has the jlm yamaha jdm yamaha should i say of our man 33 that adam brown on board
00:37:50with him
00:37:51there now as they get into the chicanes which kind of slow the circuit down in the middle there now
00:37:55and you
00:37:55just see how open it is you know when it gets windy here believe you me it is very very

00:38:01cleared a bit isn't he yeah he's moved away a little bit they're all looking quite racy at the
00:38:05front given the conditions they're going for they're working their way down into the 112s now that's
00:38:09pretty good pace isn't it super sport lap record let's have a little look at that that's uh tom booth
00:38:14amos at a 107 still five seconds off though it's not bad what a name to have a record around

00:38:19buffet and i've made plenty of names there's another overtake going on here so oh no having

00:38:29in there as well it might allow caldwell the opportunity here he's at the back of the pack at
00:38:33the moment but at the front cooper's stretching away now and look at the angles he's got off the bike

00:38:44the r6 so it is the nine that he's on what if they're both on the r9s actually it's definitely
00:38:49on the r9 anyway yeah definitely yeah moving up to the new machinery that's available this season

00:40:12out a little bit and slowly progressed from there on um we'll make some changes for this afternoon's
00:40:17race and um hopefully chip away at some lap times and be a bit more comfortable

00:45:10they're really impressive given the conditions.
00:45:13Yeah looking at the super bike lap record around

00:45:18It is of course Charlie Nesbitt that has that.
00:45:20A 105. So yeah a little bit
00:45:22off that yet Chris. But looking at the conditions you can
00:45:24totally understand why. The commitment that
00:45:26we're seeing given the conditions is actually really
00:45:29impressive. Yeah some good racing
00:45:30in the event of course put on by Philip McAllen and
00:45:32a lot of other people here. The festival in
00:45:34Ireland. Brilliant stuff. There's a move. That is
00:45:36there he is. Kerr again I think going up the
00:45:38inside. A little position gained on
00:45:40the Honda. Yeah a little Honda looks
00:45:42nice but back at the front that's what we want to see.
00:45:44There we are. And Campbell
00:45:46oh he's got look at the rear wheel
00:45:48spinning up on the whole thing sideways.
00:45:51That rear tyre is now working too hard.
00:45:53It's got too hot and it's just
00:45:54not it's not cool enough. It's got too

00:46:20BMW. He's trying to
00:46:22hold off the class act. That is of course
00:46:24Richard Kerr and Marshall Neal. Again you can see
00:46:26even on the R6 machine that he's on
00:46:28that rear tyre just jumping up
00:46:30and down. Oh look at that. He's just blasted
00:46:32past again. He's going to do it all again
00:46:34now as Marshall Neal start over
00:46:36once again. He's going to have a go already I think.
00:46:39No not too far away but that extra power
00:46:40just gives you that. But again you can only go
00:46:42around the corners the same sort of speed as these
00:46:44but the R6 will have a little bit more
00:46:46corner speed. A bit more nimble. And then
00:46:48just blitz you down the straights and
00:46:50yeah so one's got the advantage in the corners one's got the advantage
00:46:53down the straights. Well at the front
00:46:54there I thought you know Johnny Campbell was checking
00:46:56out a little bit. You can still see the damp patches
00:46:58as they go to the far side. Deegan's a
00:47:00fairways one and fairways two. Cooper
00:47:02you can just see him now just squeezing that front
00:47:04brake on the rear tyre. Just moving
