00:042026-2027 academic year following intensive rehabilitation efforts. According to Education
00:10Minister Héctor Rodriguez, 84% of the educational infrastructure damaged by two recent earthquakes
00:15in central states including La Guayra, Caracas, Miranda and Aragua have been restored. Authorities
00:23reported that out of more than 27,000 schools nationwide, 900 sustained structural damages
00:28from the seismic events. Rebuilding efforts has been specially focused on La Guayra where
00:34239 out of 290 affected schools were repaired in less than two months. Educational guidelines
00:40for the start of the term emphasize emotional support and student well-being as primary
00:45priorities alongside academic activities.
