The Kuala Lumpur Police have proposed making KK Mart convenience stores as Go-To-Safety-Point (GTSP) locations through a strategic collaboration with the company to strengthen crime monitoring and prevention efforts in the capital.

Its chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said his team has identified around 700 KK Mart branches in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor that operate 24 hours, have bright lighting, and are equipped with centralised closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, which have the potential to be safe locations for the public to seek assistance during emergencies.
