00:13In addition to the Seagray Paris Session and Seagray Symposia, the Seagray Energy Forum provides a great opportunity for stakeholders
00:21in the energy industry to come together for knowledge sharing and collaboration under one roof.
00:26Our goal is to facilitate the exchange of these important conversations that will shape the future of our industry.
00:33This year over 300 technical paper presentations have been accepted across all 16 study committees and 50% are from
00:42international authors.
00:43In addition, we'll have a full technical exhibition with over 115 exhibitors, specialized workshops, professional networking opportunities, technical tours, as
00:55well as a full lineup of panels.
00:57The Seagray Energy Forum hosted by Eltalink will be held September 21st to 24th, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
01:06For more information and to register, please go to seagray.ca.
01:11Thank you and hope to see you there.
01:22Hi, as Shell we are super excited to be here at Seagray.
01:26If you look around you see hundreds of people like connecting, talking, it's buzzing with energy, which reflects the growth
01:33of the sector, which is super important to us.
01:36As Shell, with over 80 years of experience in transformer oils, we really contribute to the energy transition with working
01:44with our customers to reduce CAPEX, reduce OPEX and reduce fire safety risk, as well as have biodegradable solutions.
01:52Yesterday, together with Enercon, we presented a technical paper of 500 wind turbines filled with our synthetic ester, Midel 7131,
02:02that increased the operability of the wind turbines, reduce the overall project cost and importantly, reduce the fire safety risks.
02:13Here at the conference, we hear topics returning from our customers over and over again.
02:19Some of the key themes is like growth, which is super exciting and we're helping our customers in their growth
02:26journeys.
02:27It's around fire safety, it's around biodegradability and it's about reducing the overall end-to-end cost for operating grids
02:35and also the upcoming data center trends.
02:38Looking forward to the next few days to connect with customers, our partners and other parties in the ecosystem.
02:45See you.
02:55Welcome to Paris session.
02:57This is where all the experts meet to discuss the topic of the future.
03:03We have two main events going on in the Paris session.
03:07One is the poster session.
03:08This is where you meet the authors and you can discuss one-to-one what are their ideas, what have
03:14they been thinking about when they presented their paper.
03:18There are 16 study committees and each of them have a poster session of about four hours.
03:24In addition to this, we summarize all the papers in a special report and based on these papers, we ask
03:32some general questions.
03:33And during the group discussion meeting, we have a contribution from delegates who can answer these questions.
03:43So welcome to take part in both of these events in addition to tutorial workshop and all the rest.
03:49And make sure you connect with all the international colleagues.
03:53Thank you and welcome.
04:04Well, thank you for that question.
04:06Thank you for that question.
04:07One advice which I would give my fellow young professionals would be being curious and trying to build that network.
04:16Personally, I had the opportunity to be part of SIGRE where I was given an opportunity to present in one
04:23of the sessions on my technical papers.
04:27And from that presentation, you know what I found, I found some mentors and I found some friends.
04:34And these are the people who have been able to give me advice, not on just the technical front, but
04:40also on non-technical front.
04:41This is an opportunity which SIGRE has given us to be part of that community where you can just not
04:49just learn from the experts from your specific area or your specific region from across the world.
04:56So one advice for all my fellow friends, try to volunteer and try to step out of that comfort zone.
05:04It will take you not just this while.
05:06It will take you far step ahead.
