00:00Well, buckle up, folks. I have said you can expect the establishment to lose their minds
00:04more and more the closer we get to a reformed government that's actually going to change things
00:09in this country. And you're seeing this, of course, when it comes to funding for political
00:14parties. When reform gets donations, it seems the whole system requires change according to
00:21the establishment. But it's long established in this country, the system. There have been
00:27huge amounts of money donated to both the Conservatives and to Labour over the years.
00:34I'll show you some examples on the screen now of large sums donated. And I do not remember
00:42at any point after any of those donations, any discussion whatsoever when it came to changing
00:49the rules on donations. And of course, the trade union is a big part of this. You can see, by
00:54the
00:54way, in terms of more than £8 million of donations to Labour, they came from just 10 sources,
01:01including two unions. So you can see there, absolutely no discussion was there whatsoever
01:09at that time around changing the rules in any way whatsoever. But of course, times have changed,
01:17reform now, catching up with Labour and the Tories when it comes to donations. And so it seems now
01:25the government could be looking to change the rules. Now, Nigel Farage hitting back very hard indeed

03:08interesting and important. That when it comes to trade unions, and this is a fact that some socialists
03:16like to totally ignore or dismiss, a recent report you can see there, polling, found that trade union
03:24members are now as likely to support reform as Labour. In fact, reform among members of Unite and GMB
03:33are more popular than the Labour Party. And yeah, that speaks volumes, doesn't it? But look, Nigel Farage
03:39hitting back very hard against this establishment stitch-up and funding. Because what Nigel's now saying
03:46is, look, if they're going to change the rules in this way, which would be completely unprecedented
03:54to try and stop reform, well, you can see here, Nigel's saying, if they try and ban our donors,
04:03then we in government, reforming government, would certainly ban funding from the trade unions. That's
04:09what Nigel's saying. He says, I don't want to go down that route, but it's something we would be
04:13prepared to do. And that neither Ben Dello nor Christopher Harborne will be getting membership of
04:19the House of Lords. They won't be getting favours. They won't be influencing policy. It isn't happening.

04:57what? If they want to play these silly games, when we're in government, we can play these silly games
05:01as well. We can introduce legislation that'll stop trade unions donating to the Labour Party.
