00:00Well the situation in this country when it comes to the BBC continues to get more and more bizarre
00:05and actually quite sinister and that's why I thank all of you for supporting my channel as members
00:10here or indeed over on my sub stack at Heaver News. See the link below this video for my article
00:15today if you want to go and read my articles and support Heaver News because in terms of at the
00:21BBC
00:22you know the idea that in 2026 people should be forced to pay for something they may have
00:29absolutely no interest in is absolutely bizarre. You now see the BBC pushing their own propaganda
00:35promoting themselves. They actually run ads already on iPlayer and between shows. It's just ads
00:41advertising their other shows so why can't these just be commercial adverts and you've even now seen
00:47after protests that oh no we can't possibly go down a subscription model. Guess what they're doing?
00:51In America a paid subscription service, a paywall. So why can this not just be done in the UK
00:59instead of people being forced to fund the BBC? And we know of course with the Labour government
01:07things are getting pretty sinister. I mean you really couldn't make this up that the government
01:12are looking and this is off the government website. Plans to make it easier for people to discover what
01:18they described as trusted news sources on social media. Options to require social media companies
01:27and video sharing platforms to make sure that news from public service media, BBC, ITV, STV, Channel 4
01:34and other trustworthy providers is prominent and easy to find. So that is the government essentially
01:40picking winners and losers in the media ecosystem. Pretty sinister if you ask me. Especially when
01:46calling these channels trusted is a bit of a joke given the BBC themselves reported that trust in
01:53the news in this country has absolutely collapsed by 20 points in a decade. So it ain't really that
02:03trusted is it? And as for the outlook for the BBC well look they're looking for now a YouTube tax
02:10the
02:10government that could extend, not get rid of as should be done, extend the license fee to cover
02:18YouTube, Netflix, Amazon, Disney Plus to prevent people dodging by logging onto the internet via their
02:25phones, tablets or computers. And under proposed changes license fee coverage would be expanded
02:32to all online providers such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney Plus and YouTube. I mean this is absolutely out
02:39of control isn't it? And it gets worse because when you look at what the BBC are actually doing
02:43we've got indoctrination of young people. Of course the BBC's left-wing bias has got more and more obvious
02:52in recent years. And even that you've got civil service fact checkers at the BBC tasked with writing
03:02articles and fact checking contentious issues. I mean it's getting all a bit North Korean at this point
03:07isn't it? Serious questions as usual about impartiality, I mean that's a joke isn't it?
03:13Questions, why did the BBC not disclose that taxpayer funded officials were writing news stories
03:20and whether any conflicts of interest might have arisen? Oh and guess what, now it's been
03:25suspended, it's been paused apparently so that's okay isn't it? Yeah I mean you know I think this is all
03:31pretty sinister isn't it? But do let me know your thoughts in the comments below,
03:35please do whack this video with a quick thumbs up and of course as ever, cheers for watching.
