00:00more of what seems to be quite compelling evidence to me that we are heading for an early
00:04general election. Before I get to that though, in terms of the shambles that Labour are now
00:10presiding over, you're seeing wealth drift away and leave this country at a pretty rapid rate now
00:18as Labour's answer to everything seems to be rather than cutting spending, increasing taxes.
00:24But what you're also seeing are a lot of decisions by Andy Burnham and his government
00:28being delayed and people are noticing this only really makes sense if you're going for an early
00:35election. We're seeing now that the government could delay a decision about when the government
00:40will increase defence spending. When it comes to this critical spending plan, that could now be
00:48delayed, pushed back once again and you can see more and more evidence now that people are preparing for
00:55a general election. Warning there from the Conservatives, Tory activists, that they're
01:01absolutely not ready. But the story in the Mail on Sunday that can be bad not saying they're preparing
01:06potentially for a Christmas general election. And the speculation is growing because you have seen
01:13these reports now that the door is indeed being left open for a general election perhaps in the first
01:20half of next year in May. And that has been widely reported recently that you could see Burnham try and
01:30capitalise early on into his premiership and call that vote. However, we've seen this weekend further
01:36evidence at this time being for some reason the government want to scrap photo ID checks now at polling
01:45stations. Speculation that this is going to lead to an early general election. It's looking like this
01:51is going to be rammed through by Labour and also changes to political donations and votes for children
01:58as well. So there could also be changes. It's been reported there to the electoral system
02:04and very much now speculation that this is all being put on the table because there is a push,
02:13very clear push from some in Labour around Burnham to try and call this early general election.
