00:00Well, another week and another huge wake-up call in terms of a local by-election result
00:06and also some poll results that I think are a massive wake-up call again and pretty frightening
00:13as to where we're headed if people don't wake up. And, you know, this all comes at a time where
00:19I'm
00:19sure you've seen it, an unprecedented establishment attack on reform and the establishment now doing
00:25everything they can to try and stop a reform government. And another result this week in
00:31terms of a local by-election which I hope really is a wake-up call. Please do let me know
00:35your views
00:36on all this in the comments below because you can see what's happened this week in Leicestershire
00:41where it's a Labour gain from reform. Very, very close there you can see between Labour and reform
00:49but the Conservatives there taking 23% of the vote, Restore getting 6.5% of the vote and the
00:56end
00:56result is that is a Labour gain from reform and you can see here just 53 votes were in this.
01:03There was
01:04a recount and the Restore votes there greater than Labour's winning margin and, you know, that is the
01:13end result now. People in that area now have a Labour councillor. And there's also been a mega poll done,
01:21another mega poll by Electoral Calculus, MRP poll, showing this, showing Labour leading on 28%,
01:29reform, the main challenger on 21%, the Conservatives third on 18%. But under first past the post,
01:36you would see Labour there getting a majority, 353 seats, the Conservatives on 90% and reform actually
01:44third on seats despite coming ahead of the Conservatives in terms of vote share. And you can see here
01:52other parties, the Lib Dems getting 10% and 70 seats, the Greens getting 9% and four seats and
02:00Restore
02:00taking 8%. And also what this is highlighting is potential anti-reform tactical voting, even there
02:12that Labour voters could vote Conservative. I mean, that's the uni party there in action. Labour voters
02:18voting Conservative to try and stop reform as well. And you can see there Martin Baxter of Electoral
02:24Calculus saying there, that at the moment on this poll, that'd be an outright majority for Labour
02:32and that you can see Labour winning back support from those who went to the Lib Dems and the Greens.
02:39And meanwhile, reforms vote are being split and cut into. So yeah, I think that's another massive
02:47wake-up call, folks. I mean, what do you want after the next general election? Do you want a Labour
02:52government or do you want to reform government? Please do let me know your thoughts in the comments
02:56below. Please do whack this video. A quick thumbs up and of course, as ever, cheers for watching.
