00:00Uh, Craig told you here at the top of the show, uh, Lizardo headed to the IL, uh, for
00:06the Phillies won't be eligible to at least, uh, the post season come back.
00:11And they're obviously not, I don't think they're catching the Braves anyway, which means wild
00:16card spot for them.
00:18Sure.
00:19You don't think it sounds good.
00:21It's you're right.
00:22It's very strange because it's not like AAA is still going where they can send them to
00:26a rehab start or something along those lines here.
00:30I would hope it's cautionary, but if it is not, that changes your opinion.
00:35Do you think of what the Phillies, maybe not in a five games, but in a seven game series,
00:40that's, that's a tough loss.
00:42No.
00:42Well, I mean, look, it's, it definitely will be tougher to beat the Cubs without Lizardo.
00:46I mean, let's start there.
00:47I mean, it's going to be tougher.
00:49Uh, you know, I still don't see the Cubs beating Philadelphia in Philadelphia in a three game
00:56wild card series.
00:57And then the question would be, would they get him back Joe for a nationally division
01:01series, a five game series?
01:03And I mean, I, I guess that sounds a little bit reasonable because that's like three weeks
01:08away.
01:08And again, they could send him to Clearwater or have him pitch somewhere just to sort of
01:13get ready for this.
01:14But he's been the main reason why the Phillies have been so good.
01:18And the Phillies have made such a strong comeback in the second half.
01:20And the truth is, is that Zach Wheeler hasn't been as good in the second half as he was
01:25in the first half.
01:26Now, all of a sudden you're counting on Aaron Nola where you thought it'd be a luxury a
01:29little bit in the playoffs with him.
01:31So yeah, not quite as bullish.
01:33I think that's fair to say on Philadelphia, but I guess we just kind of have to wait and
01:37see what happens.
01:38But I think this certainly, you know, eliminates any discussion about the NL East.
01:43I mean, I thought it was over anyway, after the Braves won two out of three, but now the
01:46other part of this is, can they avoid having to go to Wrigley for three days too?
01:51I still don't think it's as formidable.
01:53Remember, the Cubs playoff history tells you outside of the one year that they won the
01:57World Series, they've had home field and they've lost having home field.
02:01And so it doesn't, they don't scare me at Wrigley.
02:03It scares me going to Philadelphia.
02:05It's a much more difficult place to play.
