00:08I feel like love in all its forms is always complicated.
00:10That's what happens when human beings kind of collide and that's also the beauty of it.
00:15But I'm always interested in love.
00:18I think romantic films and books have always been the thing that I've most loved to watch and consume.
00:24With each of these roles that you play, does it bring up the lover side of you more and more
00:28and more?
00:29Well, I loved, I mean, I loved playing Eleanor.
00:32Like I think, yeah, it definitely doesn't, and this was a different facet of love that I feel like I
00:35explored.
00:35I explored sisterly love and I don't have siblings.
00:38So that for me was so wonderful and actually feels like the real love story of the film really is
00:43the girls.
00:43And that was such a, honestly, such a privilege to be able to experience that.
00:47And as an actor, what's it like for you to have a character that was written 200 years ago,
00:51but it's still so relevant and so well-rounded?
00:53I mean, that's such a testament to Austen's writing really.
00:56And I feel like our filmmaker Georgia had such a wonderful vision.
00:59She really wanted to make these women feel alive and of the earth.
01:03And Eleanor, yeah, she's such an incredible character.
01:05I've always really been drawn to characters that, you know, hold a lot back.
01:08And I think that's the beauty of novels and film that you get to actually be close to those people
01:12who kind of are the silent heroes.
01:13You know, there's a lot going on for Eleanor, but she doesn't always let people see that.
01:17And I always, I've always loved those people in life and I love those characters too.
