00:14Hello friends welcome to solid edge tutorials. From this tutorial we will start with sheet
00:19metals. For that click on new and for sheet metal parts we need to select template for
00:26the sheet metal that is isometric sheet metal and for part we were selecting this. Now select
00:33isometric sheet metal. This is synchronous environment for the sheet metal but we are
00:39learning in ordered. For that right click on synchronous and take last option transition
00:43to order. Now this is ordered mode for the sheet metal. So in home tab these are the
00:51commands for we are using for sheet metals. We will start with tab. For creating any part in sheet
00:58metal we need to create one tab. So start with tab click on tab command and select plane to create
01:06sketch. I have selected top plane. Take a rectangle with center and start from origin
01:17and dimension this approximately this is 300 and 150. Float sketch
01:29in sheet metal we need to define thickness of our sheet. So we can enter our thickness here. I will
01:39take 3 mm and select direction to the top side or bottom side. So this is the arrow red one.

01:50selected to the top. It will come from sketch to the top side face. Now finish and cancel. If we
02:02I want to
02:03edit this thickness and change the direction just click on tab 1 and take first option edit definition.
02:14select this. Select this. Tap thickness step and change thickness as 5 and select direction once again. So
02:23for 5 mm I will take downside direction and finish. This is tab command
02:32and you want to change profile for this tab. For that select this tab and take second option edit profile.
02:42Now I will take circle. Circle by center point and start from origin.
02:51I will make this rectangle in construction mode. Change. Let's dimension this circle approximately 500
03:01and close sketch. Now this profile has been changed.
