00:35Absolutely, thank you for the question because just as CISL Scuola del Lazio we have
00:42with the start of the school year a request was prepared, a meeting with the President
00:51of the Rocca Region and which the Region followed up. On September 8th we had a meeting
01:02with the competent councilors and therefore as CISL and as CISL Scuola we moved immediately with respect
01:12to this problem, especially since the previous school year ended with
01:22precisely that start of that completely anomalous heat wave, even if in fact so much
01:30anomalous from what the forecasts tell us it will not be in the next few years and from here precisely
01:35I'm saying what our proposals were at the regional table which in fact were
01:42accepted and we must give credit to the Lazio Region for this.
01:48Well, we closed the year with, especially during the final exams,
01:54with illnesses on the part of both students and pupils, so we had
01:58lots of reports, obviously stay in safe places from a static point of view
02:04it is fundamental, staying in healthy places is fundamental, staying in places that are
02:11adequate temperature is equally necessary. From this point of view it is evident and from a
02:20given here too, Lazio is unfortunately the last in the final table with respect to the ratio between
02:26school buildings and cooling systems, just 1.6% below the national average, if

03:09It is a measure that has not had any effect. Starting from this assumption, given the start of the
03:17early September with the heat still being so strong, we
03:23I presented this request by working on two aspects, one the more emergency one, however
03:29We cannot rely on the average person's hopes, it is true that the heat is less intense now,
03:38but anyway, yes, I think we all have a responsibility to plan. So on the one hand, the emergency
03:47asking, because there is an experience that the Lazio Region has already activated this summer
03:54since last May an ordinance, the so-called heat emergencies, that is the suspension of the activity
04:01of work, mostly outdoors in some sectors, I'm thinking of construction. Well, then
04:07our proposal, responsibly evaluated by the Region, is first and foremost the question
04:18of the red-flagged days, evaluate the opportunity to issue a heat ordinance which therefore
