00:00So Josh, we were talking in segment one kind of about does this Bills team look different to you in
00:07any way or is this just a continuation of last year? Do you see it that way? Do you see
00:12this Bills team looking different or is this just, hey, they're still good. We just forgot.
00:17I really do think they they look and feel different, even though most of their roster is the same with,
00:26of course, the addition of D.J. Moore now penning the results of when he gets his MRI and everything
00:31on his what appears to be shoulder injury.
00:33But they're coming in this season with this higher type of confidence than we've normally seen out of them.
00:40This is this is Josh Allen being like, hey, we know we just lost this division to the Patriots last
00:48year.
00:49We got a new stadium. Everyone's talking about the Rams. No one's talking about really anyone in the AFC trying
00:57to win the Super Bowl.
00:59We are coming out here and showing what we are made of.
01:02And with in a four day span victory over the Texans and Lions, both teams that have been projected to
01:10be in the playoffs, they are coming in strong.
01:15And Josh Allen in a four day span, five passing touchdowns, four rushing touchdowns, leads the league in both, which
01:25is crazy to say.
01:27As I mean, he he's coming out with with a new type of mission and now with tonight's win, nine
01:34and one on Thursday night games.
01:35So he clearly likes the short weeks. But yeah, Buffalo is there.
01:41They're coming in high and need to be noticed.
01:44And Josh Allen, 20 of 31, three passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns, 14 for 69 on the ground, 317 total
01:54yards, five tutters.
01:56You combine that for with week one, Josh, 334 and two touchdowns and ran for two more scores against Houston.
02:03So right through two games, staggering numbers, five passing touchdowns, four rushing, nine total, no interceptions.
02:11Although you could have had the end of the Houston game, a meatball sub, as me and John like to
02:16say, extra vinegar, right?
02:19So 582 passing yards. So, you know, that's an MVP argument out of the gates if there ever was one.
02:25Again, we have plenty of season left. But what do you make of how Josh Allen has come out of
02:30the gates here?
02:31Like I said, he almost threw that bad pick. I think that would have changed the narrative, but he didn't.
02:35And he threw the game winning touchdown. We, uh, minutes later in week one, what do you make of Josh
02:41Allen so far?
02:43Well, I think the best way to summarize it is look at this first drive that they had tonight.
02:48They, they did not have a single third down on that first drive.
02:52And he just brought them down play after play after play, then took the goal line touchdown away from James
02:59Cook, which he is also known to do.
03:01And, and he's just like, Hey, we are going to make sure that we are on that next level.
03:10You guys are suddenly starting to doubt us. You're suddenly starting to doubt the AFC ease.
03:14You're suddenly starting to doubt the AFC period. Hold my beer.
03:17That's essentially what Josh Allen was doing. And again, Detroit is a formidable opponent.
03:26I know in the first half, they certainly didn't look like it, but they're normally a formidable opponent.
03:32Houston is a very formidable opponent. And Josh Allen led his team to make it look like that.
03:40They were playing an arena against an arena football team.
