00:12be wrong for thinking you saw a Studio Ghibli game pop up in the middle of the stream, or maybe
00:16someone at Microsoft accidentally flipped the switch to a 90s slice of life anime they were
00:21watching on a second monitor. But no, that was the trailer for the gorgeous life sim game Vivarium,
00:26which dropped in 2027 on Xbox Series consoles and PC. Vivarium follows the story of Jenny,
00:33an 11 year old who lives within a terrarium. The game takes place in this perfect pocket world,
00:38draped in nostalgic atmosphere of verdant foliage and sunlight. The game's official site hints that,
00:44while you spend most of your time doing the expected cosy activities of a life sim,
00:49there is a hidden truth that lies beneath. Friendship with Gears of War ended, now Vivarium is my best
00:55friend.
