00:35I can talk to you about a concept of a multi-role surveillance radar that we developed, that my office
00:43developed with the industry, Raytech Defence, which was not there.
00:47It's a surveillance and it's a mobile one. You would see it when you go there, it's rotating like this.
00:52It can go up to 200 to 300 nautical miles, surveying everything without being identified.
01:01South African engineers are turning military needs into locally developed technology, despite tight budgets.
01:11There are other technologies. The limit that we have is just the budget that we have.
01:17But a lot of these products, we conceptualise it. The chiefs tell us what difficulties they have.
01:24We convert those difficulties into projects and then we, where we can, we bring them into products.
