00:12The Health Minister said the FDS would only resume after investigations into the September
00:178 helicopter crash are completed.
00:20He said the suspension had affected scheduled visits to rural and interior areas, with the
00:26FDS serving more than 14,000 people.
00:30Dzulkifli also said the Ministry was working with the Public Service Department's Pension
00:34Division and the Finance Ministry on matters involving ex-gratia payment, retirement benefits
00:40and other related issues.
00:42On compensation, he said details could not be disclosed yet as authorities were still compiling
00:48the relevant information.
00:49He said the ex-gratia payment involved several components and required detailed calculations
00:55operations, with the process still ongoing.
00:57The helicopter involved in the crash was operated by Layang Layang Aerospace Sendirian Berhad,
01:03a private charter firm based in Kota Kinabalu.
01:07The September 8 crash at the Long Lelang Stolport airstrip killed four medical personnel and
01:13a pilot.
