PhilGEPS finds at least 49 government contracts awarded to Gencorp

PhilGEPS Division Chief Rendell Sopeña said their system shows at least 49 contracts awarded to Gencorp Industries Inc., a company linked to VP Sara Duterte.  These include contracts from OWWA Region 11, PhilHealth, and 15 contracts from the Davao City government.  Sopeña presented five USB drives containing data and summaries of the 49 contracts, totaling 231 documents and 481 pages. Lead House prosecutor Gerville Luistro then asked for a 10-minute recess to review the documents, which both sides were seeing for the first time.
