Today’s featured work, [Cosmic Prism], was written based on the core theory of the master of modern philosophy, Immanuel Kant: the "Copernican Revolution." Kant argued that we do not see the world as it is, but rather reconstruct it through the prism of our own inner cognitive structures. In other words, it is not the world that shapes us, but we—as subjects—who determine the form of the world. This project visualizes a subject who reconstructs a chaotic void into a universe of order and beauty through her own gaze, set against the backdrop of an empty glass space.
The line "The world doesn't shape who I am inside / The moment I open my eyes, the colors decide" in the lyrics sings of the Copernican Revolution, where the subject determines the form of the object, told through Luna’s perspective. Furthermore, the exclamation "I define the view" proclaims her identity as an absolute cognitive subject who establishes the laws of the universe herself.
