00:12upgraded its warning over concerns products could contain harmful bacteria.
00:18Now, this recall was first issued in June by St. Louis-based Intercon Chemical Company.
00:23The hand soap was distributed to wholesalers in 16 states, including here in Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa.
00:30Now, the FDA says exposure could lead to adverse health consequences.
00:35Of course, the mainstream media didn't go into any detail with the brands of hand soap or the states that
00:40are affected.
00:40So I'll let you know that in a second. Here are the five different bacteria that they found.
00:45It looks like they cause skin, eye, ear, urinary tract, lung and bloodstream infections.
00:51So this is something you definitely want to avoid.
00:54Here are the states. So there are 15 states, California, Georgia.
00:58You can kind of read these at your own pace.
01:00If you are in one of these states, you want to be especially careful when you're out in public because
01:05the majority of the bottles are for commercial use, meaning public restrooms, facilities.
01:10So if you are out in public, just maybe be careful washing your hands with soap.
01:15In one of these states, I know you should definitely wash with soap, but again, they are contaminated with bacteria.
