00:10The excitement continues at the 93rd anniversary show with the CML World World Award Championship on the line.
00:21First making his way to the ring is the challenger, proudly representing Reynosa Tamaulipas, Commander!
00:43And now here comes the champion, he is El Inmortal, representing the Lucha Libre School of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
01:00Ladies and gentlemen, here is Titan!
01:15Friends of the Lucha Libre in the world, it's a 101 for the CML World World Award Championship.
01:22CML versus AEW.
01:26It's only one fall with no time limit.
01:30Referee is Salvador Munguia, Tigre Infante.
01:41TITAN
01:42World Welterweight Championship on the line.
01:45Titan makes his 12th defense of that title against Commander.
01:51One of those defenses back in January was already against Commander.
01:56An incredible matchup.
01:57Commander, as you can see, not successful in that outing.
02:01But both Titan, Commander, and all of the fans in me have been clamoring for a one-on-one rematch.
02:08We're getting it here at Aniversario 93.
02:10This is the very definition of a dream match, Veda and Jorge.
02:13These two can go, and they can go hard.
02:16The style of Titan, who's very acrobatic, but also has a strong style that he has learned in Japan.
02:22And Commander, who's a very young kid and has made a name for himself internationally in AEW.
02:28This is all we can hope of.
02:30Whoa! And we are getting started right away.
02:32No wasted time!
02:34What a top-paste we see outside of the ring by Titan.
02:39Coming back to the ring, trying to take the victory? No.
02:42Oh, and they're headed out on the ramp?
02:44Now they are going into the ramp, and...
02:47What is thinking, Titan?
02:53There is a kick.
02:55Where is he going?
02:56Oh, no.
02:57Is he going to do the stacker from there?
02:58He is going to do the stacker from there!
03:00Oh!
03:02Through the ribs, the sternum, the soft inside parts of Commander.
03:08It's all bad.
03:09And we can see that Titan is determined to leave Aniversario still champion.
03:18And something we saw last Wednesday.
03:22Last Wednesday.
03:23Oh!
03:23In that previous match with Soberano Union and El Bandido.
03:27That aggressive of Titan.
03:30And now, the reaction by Commander from the second to the third row!
03:34Beautiful flight.
03:37Incredible plancha in the ramp.
03:41Commander, someone else who...
03:44The difficulty of his ability to walk the ropes, again, and extension of the ring is absolutely incredible.
03:52Look!
03:53Oh!
03:53Oh!
03:54Hot with a kick straight to the face.
03:56Titan knows exactly what he's doing.
03:57Where he's standing at all moments in the ring.
04:00Now he's setting up Commander.
04:02He's going to try and finish things soon, Jorge.
04:04Yeah, that's right.
04:05He is going to the top.
04:06Let's see what will happen.
04:09Elite Martel with more experience.
04:12There he is looking for that stacker bot.
04:14He missed it.
04:15Commander learned the lesson earlier.
04:18Oh!
04:19Oh!
04:19And now, the head is straight down.
04:20And now, Commander is going to flight.
04:22Oh!
04:23Inside out with the moonsault.
04:27Incredible action by Commander.
04:30All the spectacular style.
04:33Titan, so aggressive.
04:35So fast their reaction by the challenger.
04:39And you briefly mentioned this, but last Sunday, Commander and Titan were in a tag team match.
04:46here in mexico against each other and in that match commander managed to pin titan that is a
04:52huge psychological advantage going in now as commander makes the climb he needs to focus
05:00looking for the shooting star whoa landed on his feet put a stop to titan bouncing on the ropes
05:07reversal by titan beautiful oh no but that is impressive strength from commander holding on
05:13out of the ropes he did not allow for the swing in ddt and now he's got him by the
05:17neck look at that
05:18and into the ropes i did not expect anything less from these two but i'm still getting surprised
05:28commander is ready going from the second to the third roll
05:35big leg drop on the back of the head here we go new champion
05:41oh but titan able to kick out
05:47commander looking for his first cml victory in a title match of a tournament
05:54he has been previously defeated by titan and mascara dorada in the title matches and also
06:02against mascara dorada lost in the final of la leyenda de plata tournament
06:08it's time with the hard kicks ben new japan style he drops commander and is trying to get the
06:17audience behind him they've been chanting for commander the whole night and commander with a
06:21quick recovery begin seguri from the top rope and again titan falls to the ground commander someone who
06:28has only been appearing in cmll for the the past couple of years but in that time he has become
06:33such a huge fan favorite and uh-oh titan is in trouble commander making the set the climb i mean
06:42big
06:42risk for commander anything can happen siolita no see that's what i was trying to warn him commander knew
06:51exactly exactly exactly what was coming and he got caught by titan
06:58you could see that come when commander realized that he was going to get stopped
07:05titan had that moment to turn it around and so far these two have had answers for absolutely everything
07:12they're throwing at each other you can tell they are both very very prepared for this match what is
07:18thinking than because commander is on the floor whoa god oh that has gotta hurt yeah yeah for sure yeah
07:29your knees your ankles even your plants of your feet like that cannot feel good that was a high risk
07:38and now this is something that no reward then definitely
07:47the transfer commander are drowning this arena
07:53as now titan back to his feet he's limping here i mean i i would imagine that impact oh oh
08:01right there
08:02on to the back 450 springboard commander oh titan able to kick out and rolls right to the outside that
08:11is smart yeah very smart trying to recover a little but but i don't think yeah or yes probably so
08:19smart
08:19oh no he's gonna do it again oh my god i know he's done this probably 200 times
08:25but every time there's a chance you can sleep that the rope is wet you know we have athletes
08:33god oh
08:39one of the most amazing impressive maneuvers in all of pro wrestling is it what's going to get commander
08:49a victory here coming back after titan commander on a mission
08:57and there is the esto is lucha chance
09:06right again to lower back up the knee looks like it hurt there's a cover hooking both legs
09:16and titan able to get the shoulder up and you can see commander again with that knee he may have
09:24sacrificed some of his own health in order to connect with the spine of titan yeah you could tell that
09:31he
09:32was not in a good place he couldn't help the pin now he's gonna go for titan but sometimes that's
09:40what
09:40it takes you put it all on the line to become a champion
09:46titan trying to resist we know he has a good carrier but i don't know what will happen in this
09:51situation against commander oh oh spiked him hard and he's gonna go for it again
10:01right on the face oh
10:05i don't know how we didn't see teeth yeah teeth flying over there and now titan is at the top
10:10he's gonna go for this fight oh right in the back commander is done hooks the legs deep titan oh
10:21oh my god somehow some way commander is still in this matchup and that dramatic count by the referee
10:31dude arena mexico is my spirit animal you hear that i don't know what it was it was a chant
10:37a cry when
10:38when commander managed to get out of the pin the fans are really into this match
10:48a chance to support commander the chance of esto is lucha champion and challenger in the center of the ring
10:56commander is asking for more titan is ready to give it to him
11:05titan though connects first
11:19oh
11:20oh commander though don't count him out yet commander on the run but gets caught again right in the teeth
11:29but turns titan inside out
11:34we're gonna miss by commander caught on the rebound
11:40incredible match and you can see the grueling pace the physicality of this match taking it's
11:48told they're both down what an intensity i commander and titan
12:23and now
12:24any situation for the champion and the challenger who will take the worst part because this is not
12:29looking yeah this is very very dangerous territory
12:37commander trying to get titan at the top titan doing anything he can to stay there
12:49oh oh commander's hung up commander's trapped
13:01and now titan can commander do it again on the pin
13:08but look at titan he's still got the legs
13:14oh that over stretched knee of commander right in the center of the ring titan has a number of
13:23devastating submissions to call upon
13:27it's a variation of a mood log and he has no choice but to tap
13:35jesus christ
13:47here is your winner
13:52and retains the cml world welterweight championship
14:17this time this was defense the tech 12 for titan and he will continue on but
14:27look at they're both still down this was such a physical grueling matchup
14:35look at commander he can't move but so frustrated because he couldn't get the victory
14:48second time the titan defeat commander to retain the cml world welterweight championship
14:57and he receives the championship by matias luterot and jose luis feliciano
15:27and
15:29commander even in defeat extends the hand titan shakes it
