00:09Obviously, Atlanta is 0-2 and probably have the best fan Twitter pages
00:16that I've ever seen.
00:17I mean, they are losing their minds over there.
00:19It is incredible.
00:20Everyone is getting a laugh out of Falcons' Twitter.
00:24But Atlanta's 0-2, they've averaged eight points with Cooper Rush starting.
00:29Green Bay is 1-1, but they needed an overtime win to beat the Jets.
00:34So, John, your thoughts on this game?
00:36I don't know if this will be pretty.
00:38Probably won't be, but what are your thoughts?
00:41I can't remember a time that I felt the public was so neutral on Green Bay.
00:49Nobody's looking at Green Bay as a threat.
00:52Nobody's looking at Green Bay from a standpoint of they're a contender of some sort.
00:57Everybody seems to be very mild on Green Bay, and either I always want my teams
01:04for people to have an opinion on them, good or bad.
01:07I can't really find a lot of people who are passionate or feel no way about Green Bay.
01:14It's all in the middle, and you don't want to be in the middle.
01:17So, this is pointing in a very bad direction for Green Bay for the first time in a long time.
01:23And in addition to that, Atlanta, at least people are mad at Atlanta.
01:28At least you know there's some type of conversation about what's going on with them,
01:33whether it be Tua hurting his back a couple days before the season started,
01:38and them being forced to play Cooper Rush, who looks like he doesn't even want to play,
01:43but he got to keep taking them checks, so he got to get out there.
01:46It's just been—Atlanta has been such a poorly executed experiment in quarterback play,
01:53but no one should be surprised because they hired Kevin Stefanski.

02:02The quarterback room hasn't been figured out because you hired Kevin Stefanski.
02:07Did you not see what he did in Cleveland?
02:09And now he just simply rolled that down to Atlanta, a city that I love,
02:15great fans, great uniforms, great players.
02:20And then you saddle them with a guy who just doesn't know what to do at quarterback.
02:24And now you're in this situation where you hope—
02:28Again, Michael Penix last year didn't look great.

02:33Sorry, he didn't look great.

02:35And now you're putting them in a situation where he has to look great
02:39or their season is absolutely over.
02:42And you can get three games in.
02:44And a guy coming off an ACL needs time on the field.
02:49Luckily, they have B. John Roberts.
02:51They have B. Lundin.
02:53They have Cal Pitts.
02:55When Cal Pitts is not getting paid, he's the invisible man.
02:59But when it's time for Cal Pitts to get paid, he looks like Tony Gonzalez.
03:02So you don't know who's going to show up.
03:04Yeah, Antonio Gates might show up, or the kid who got cut from the Browns
03:08who went back to LSU might show up.
03:10You don't know who's going to show up at tight end for the Falcons.
03:13But I hope for Penix's sake, it's the better half, the much, much better half of Cal Pitts.
03:21Well, that's the thing.
03:23It can't get much worse, right, with the Falcons.
03:25I mean, with how bad that they have been at the quarterback position,
03:31I mean, you're right.
03:32It probably could get worse.
03:33It always get worse.
03:34For Atlanta fans, it probably could.
03:36But for any other team, you'd be like, okay, hey, the guy that we drafted ninth overall,
03:40which at the time, I was like, oh, my God, why are they doing that?
03:42They had Kirk Cousins.
03:43And now it's looking like, okay, well, they need Penix to save them in some ways.
03:48Jordan Love has completed 52% of his passes so far.
03:52The Packers, though, lead the league in penalties and penalty yards.
03:56But their defense has actually generated pressure, 45.6% of opposing dropbacks.
04:02So they're actually getting some pressure.
04:04What have you seen from Green Bay?
04:06Like, Green Bay is kind of not being talked about right now, and rightfully so.
04:10They're struggling out of the gate.
04:11They barely beat the Jets in overtime.
04:13But what are you seeing from them?
04:14Have you liked anything from them or no?
04:17I did think sometimes in an organization like that who really – they don't have an owner.
04:22Remember, the town owns the team.
04:24And so when you have a situation like what happened with the running back,
04:27who was removed from the team and put on the commissioner's list
04:31because he had a battery situation going in his personal life,
04:35that really hurts the team.
04:37You get something like that with no real direction from the top,
04:42it really kind of puts them at a flux.
04:45A lot of people don't really know what to make of Jordan Love,
04:48which then makes them – they don't know what to think of Matt LaFleur.
04:52And so you have two people who are the face of your franchise
04:56who people really don't know what to think about these people
04:59because Matt LaFleur hasn't really won anything.
05:03And what you could say when it was Aaron Rodgers,
05:05that they still had Aaron Rodgers,
05:07what you could say at one point is that they have Brett Favre,
05:10so they had a direction.
05:11With Jordan Love, it really feels like you don't have a direction.
05:16And Matt LaFleur doesn't really give you any security as a head coach
05:22because he hasn't been able to put successful playoff runs together.
05:26They've had successful seasons under Matt LaFleur,
05:29but they haven't had successful playoff pushes under Matt LaFleur.
05:33And when you're talking about the Green Bay Packers,
05:35they're looking at playoff success.
05:37That organization, as much as I hate them, they operate in excellence.
05:43They do things a certain way,
05:44and a certain way that they do things by developing their players,
05:47they tend to get successful outcomes
05:49when it comes to regular season and playoff success.
