00:06So the Rams obviously look dominant Monday.
00:09Denver has won 14 of its last 15 regular season home games.
00:13It's actually a pretty insane stat.
00:16So this is in Denver.
00:17It's a primetime game.
00:19The Rams, a lot of people are like,
00:22okay, yeah, you did well and you look better
00:24and you look like the Rams of old,
00:25but you're playing Jameis Winston
00:27in a team that was decimated by injuries.
00:29So this is probably their first real test
00:32after that week one loss.
00:36Which of these last results tell you more?
00:39Like, was it the Broncos last week
00:42or was it the Rams on Monday night?
00:44What do you think?
00:45I think the Broncos last week tells you more
00:48because you saw what you were expecting
00:50and see from Bo Nix.
00:52I think Bo Nix was so bad in the opener
00:54that it gave you a lot of pause
00:57because that offense is completely driven
00:59solely by the pass game.
01:02This isn't something like where there's a run-pass balance.
01:06That is a complete and utter pass-first offense.
01:09And if your quarterback can't simply hold on to the ball,
01:14if he's going to see J. Strouch you,
01:15then you're in trouble.
01:16And so Bo Nix was able to calm a lot of that noise
01:20about his ability to hang on to the ball
01:22and to execute the offense.
01:25They got Jalen Waddle involved in a very big way,
01:28which was very good to see.
01:29And so I'm expecting for that to lead over
01:33because of their record at home.
01:35Now, my belief in the Rams
01:37is that that's nothing to them.
01:41Again, what the offense did to the Giants' defense,
01:45that's a good Giants' defense.
01:47Me, personally, I believe the Giants' defense
01:50is on par with the Broncos' defense.
01:52And so I'm expecting to see an offensive onslaught
01:56like we saw if they can get as many bites at the apple
02:01as they got against New York.
02:04I don't think they will.
02:06So I think this game will be closer,
02:07but I think the Rams will be able to move the ball.
02:10I think the Rams will be able to score points.
02:12But I also think this will be a test to see
02:14for the Rams' defense if the new defense,
02:16the new corners, the new secondary,
02:18and the revamp front line by revamp,
02:22the person who was revamped isn't there.
02:24But I think with the addition of Aaron Donald
02:26and him looking even after one game,
02:32I'm expecting to see him a little bit better
02:33in the next game.
02:34And so I expect for the Rams to pull this one out.
02:38Not by a lot, not by a lot at all,
02:40but I'm expecting to see the Rams pull this one out.
02:42Yeah, Denver came back to beat Jacksonville 20-13.
02:45Bo Nix had those 288 yards.
02:48Jalen Waddell finally played well.
02:50Week one was abysmal for him.
02:51He had 138 receiving yards.
02:54I think he's going to be crucial.
02:55Well, I know.
02:55That's the point.
02:56I think he's going to be so crucial for this Denver team.
02:58A lot of people,
02:59I think both of these teams were in kind of a similar situation
03:02after week one,
03:03where everyone was really worried about the offenses,
03:06and they were worried about the defenses,
03:07and oh my God,
03:08were we overrating the Rams and the Broncos?
03:11And I think both of them in week two kind of showed,
03:13hey, we still got it.
03:14We just got to kind of figure it out on the fly.
03:16We got a new wide receiver one.
03:18The Rams are still trying to work guys in.
03:20I will say this.
03:21Trent McDuffie has looked awesome.
03:23I mean, he was great in week two against the Giants.
03:26I know he was weird.
03:27Not in week one.
03:29No, he kind of was.
03:30It wasn't really him in week one.
03:32It was more Jalen Watson than the other guys.
03:34Trent McDuffie was actually pretty good.
03:36If you look at his numbers,
03:39he was actually pretty good in week one.
03:41He was the best one, I'll say.
03:43So let me say,
03:45this is my thing when it comes to the Rams.
03:48I'm not a statistic guy.
03:49I'm an eye test guy because I watch the games.
03:52I love that.
03:52Not to snub my nose up at anybody who does it
03:55and then have time because I understand people have busy schedules,
03:57but because I do this for a living,
03:59I watch the games.
04:00The Rams secondary hasn't passed the eye test for me.

04:04Again, you're picking on balls being thrown by Jameis Winston.
04:07So, uh-uh.
04:09It's very fair.
04:10Uh-uh.
04:11I'm going to need to see you do that against Bo Nix.
04:14Therefore, because I didn't see any of you do that against Brock Purdy,
04:18but again, we've now let that go
04:20because the head coach is taking responsibility
04:22for that being a scheduling loss.
04:25So we let that go,
04:27but now here's the opportunity
04:28for that secondary to show
04:30we are,
04:31we are the major story that was brought in.
04:33Yes, I know we brought in Myles Garrett,
04:35but this secondary also got revamped
04:37with pro bowlers,
04:38all pro guys.
04:40And so they need to show that
04:41and it's a great team to show that against
04:43because Jalen Waddle is about as fast as they come
04:46and Gordon Sutton is about
04:47as good as you can get on third down
04:49when he's effective.
04:51And so the Broncos have a very good offense.
04:53They're very good pass game.
04:54And so, and by the way,
04:56they'll come back on you.
