00:00Aaron Jones fought his absolute butt off last week.
00:03I mean, it was incredible to see just the toughness and going into the game.
00:09He knew he was going to have to carry the football a lot,
00:11but the slop out there, the physical nature of an NFC North game,
00:15he gets hurt two different times and the game comes back in.
00:19I mean, that's stuff that you don't always see in the NFL these days
00:23just with the way that the game is now, like that level of toughness.
00:28And so that was really something to witness.
00:30He's a special person.
00:31He's a special player.
00:32But the week after is much harder than the game when the adrenaline's going on.
00:37And I think that this week is going to be really hard for him to play at the same level.
00:42Now, he did practice today, which is very promising for his chances to play.
00:47But the backup situation is three guys right now on the roster
00:51who were not Minnesota Vikings two weeks ago, which is really crazy to think about.
00:55And then DeMond Claiborne, their rookie, who they have not shown any trust in whatsoever.
01:01And I understand why.
01:02He's a sixth-round draft pick.
01:04But at the same time, I think when they picked him, they were hoping that he could be depth.
01:08So, I think they kind of overestimated how far along they could get Claiborne in the offseason.
01:15They were very optimistic about the health of Mason and Aaron Jones.
01:19So, there's probably some second-guessing there about the running back depth in the offseason,
01:23not adding one more player.
01:25At least you could say that the three guys that are backups have played in the NFL before.
01:30We'll see who they're going to elevate, if it's Jerome Ford or the guy they just signed, Jarrett Patterson.
01:35Like, these guys have played in actual games, and so has DJ Dallas.
01:38But I don't think you can rely on any of them for more than a handful of carries.
01:42So, I think this is going to have to be the Kyler Murray show.
01:46And based on who they're playing, it's kind of a best-case scenario.
01:50Tampa Bay is really good against the run and really bad against the pass.
01:53So, bringing back Kyler Murray against a team that doesn't rush the passer very well,
01:58that is really struggling with underneath stuff against their linebackers.
02:02They get Juwan Jennings back.
02:03Like, this one screams, hey, sort of survive on the ground as much as you can
02:08and throw the ball around the yard.
