00:11this is tough because he has made it

00:20though we just had one that was great
00:22but I'd have to go back to his first no
00:26hitter against the the brew crew and it
00:29was June 12 2007 I just watching him
00:35pitch still being able to touch a hundred
00:37miles per hour in the ninth inning 112 pitch
00:41performance they beat him for nothing it
00:43was his first no hitter and it was that oh
00:46my god this is special we're watching a
00:49very unique individual and you could go on
00:50and on I won't take I'll save another
00:53comment for after everybody's shared
00:55theirs okay how did you have one I have a
00:57it's more personal than something he did
01:00out on the field every year when I worked
01:03for the Tigers Miggy used to hold a big
01:06charity event called keeping kids in the
01:08game and I got to cover it but I also got
01:12to bring Colin which was really cool because
01:14we get to go down to the clubhouse and I
01:16was interviewing JV for the the feature and
01:19then he stood there and chatted with Colin
01:22and I for about 15 minutes brought his dad
01:24over and we had like a really intimate
01:27conversation for about 15 minutes that's
01:30and I think Colin would have that memory
01:32too like I remember more of that than
01:34anything you do on the field yeah sure
01:37that's really cool I mean the personal
01:39stuff yeah for me it's the chilly F out I
01:41got this game it's game five ALDS 2013 in
01:46Oakland he's perfect through five innings he
01:48strikes out ten and eight innings of shutout
01:50baseball and that was the most talented
01:51group the Tigers ever had in the playoffs
01:53and it nearly got off the rails in the
01:56ALDS until he saved the day John
01:59mentioned the no hitter but remember all
02:02the near no hitters oh yeah that he had
02:04and we went to one as a show long back
02:08before anybody else was here was the
02:11morning show at the time 2011 when he was
02:14having his big season against a game
02:16against Cleveland and he was having one
02:19of those days where we just you know it
02:21was a night game we got the show the next
02:23morning and it's like let's not quite
02:26leave yet until he gives up a hit and
02:28then a hit was eventually garnered off
02:31JV Jim you just stole every single word
02:34out of my mouth with the exception is in
02:36that game he did retire the first 20
02:38batters yeah I the only downside about
02:41him performing that well in that game is
02:42then we because they won then big poppy
02:46happen well and it's funny he had two of
02:48those games because he also had one in
02:49the 2011 season a game five against
02:51Oakland too and I think that was a
02:52complete game shutout so I you know
02:54there's so many great moments there was
02:56a near no-no against the Pirates that I
02:58really liked Harrison yes broke it up yeah
03:00he was electric that night he was
03:02starting to hit over a hundred in the
03:04eighth inning should have got a no hit and
03:06it's all the times where he didn't care
03:08about pitch count like he was just going
03:10to go out there and give it all and he
03:12just you know f this I want to win the

03:22was very very difficult because some of it
03:25is use dependent but if I'm just sitting
03:29there and I want a chunk of chocolate I'm

03:40use dependent depending on if it's in
03:42cookies if it's in brownies if it's just
03:44if it's with a cup of coffee but if if
03:47I'm just sitting down that's my ranking
03:48okay if I was just gonna sit down and
03:51eat chocolate I would choose milk

03:57chocolate okay I would put dark

06:31so I think it is more imperative for

06:35said I agree I'm judging them each by
06:37their their goal that we set which is
06:40for MSU make the playoffs and for
06:41Michigan for MSU make a bowl Michigan
06:44make the playoff and I think Michigan
06:46needs this more to make the playoff than
06:48MSU does to make a bowl yeah so it
06:50means more they need it more with
06:52Michigan it just means more sure I agree

06:57days until Christmas you guys have been
06:59talking about this I want to know if
07:01you've started Christmas shopping and if
07:03not when do you need to start yes I
07:06have I've started Christmas shopping for
07:09Lisa and I actually have a couple of
07:12things for the kids so and I started oh
07:15oh shoot probably two months ago wow just
07:18so the bill doesn't build up in December
07:20because we've got January birthdays as
07:23well and so you're gonna have to spread
07:24that out over the course of six months so
07:27I started quite a while ago do you have a
07:29like a killer hiding spot where do you
07:31keep all these gifts yeah my office no
07:33one's allowed in my office oh I like it
07:35off limits I actually have started shopping
07:39as well for the kids not on purpose but I
07:42had found something I was going to buy
07:44for somebody else yeah and then they
07:46were like oh wait don't do that we
07:47already have that and I was like well
07:48Emily would love this I'm just gonna
07:50keep it for her yeah so I have one gift
07:53all right when do you feel like you need
07:55to really start making progress I'm a
07:57last-minute shopper or if they have a
07:59prime day I typically do a lot of damage
08:02on a prime day I think there's a couple
