Get in cheap now, or pay more later. That's the message from the CEO of Bulkhead regarding their new FPS, 'Wardogs'. This video explores their justification for raising the price throughout the game's Early Access period.

00:00War Dogs has become a breakout hit on Steam, even at a relatively steep $40 in early access.
00:05According to Joe Brammer, CEO of developer Bulkhead, an executive producer on the game,
00:09the developer is charging what the FPS is worth, and the price is going to continue
00:13to increase as the game improves.
00:15We are scaling pricing, Brammer explains.
00:17In 12 months, which is around the time they plan to reach 0.5, the price will increase
00:21to $49.99.
00:23In 24 months, the price will hit $59.99.
00:26If you don't want to get in now, wait for there to be more content, more stuff.
00:29Buy it later, Brammer says.
00:31If you want to buy in cheap now, that's fine too, but really, we just think it's fair
00:35to scale the price as the game becomes bigger and bigger and bigger.
00:38Bulkhead straddles the line between indie and AA, Brammer says, acknowledging that no one
00:42knows what these mean.
00:43But you can see this isn't just an indie FPS game.
00:46Producing high fidelity graphics and physics for a game like this takes time and costs
00:50a lot of money.
00:51Our thing is like, look, we control our salaries, and we don't want to blow them out of the
00:55water or anything.
00:56This game costs a lot to make.
00:57If you want to play a cheaper FPS, you may go and play a cheaper FPS.
01:01That's absolutely fine.
01:02But this is what our game is worth.
01:04Our game is worth this, and if you don't agree with that, please don't buy it.
01:07Have you been playing Wild Dogs?
