00:25So this is the final first round match.
00:30And it will be three men who they don't have a ton of history against one another outside of one
00:36G1 Climax match.
00:40But with Gotoh, Mr. March, man.
00:44Yes, this is his tournament.
00:46The number one man in New Japan Cup history against quite of an enigma.
00:56We talked about potential, right?

01:01This guy right here, Sonata, Cold Skull, has all the makings of a megastar.
01:12Handpicked by his mentor, Muto, to join him and train under him.
01:23He found his way into New Japan Pro Wrestling.
01:26And not only that, found his way into the hottest faction in New Japan Pro Wrestling, LIJ.
01:37But Sonata's pulse doesn't get much above resting level.

01:44And that's not just because of his incredible athletic prowess.
01:47That is because of the cool exterior and cool interior.
01:52The fierce warrior wears his heart in his sleeve a lot of times.

02:23And for Hiroki Gotoh, it's not just go and win the New Japan Cup.

02:31But it's win the New Japan Cup and then become IWGP Heavyweight Champion, which he has yet to do.
