उत्तर प्रदेश नगर निकाय चुनाव 2023 के तहत मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर ज़िले में दो नगर पालिका परिषद और आठ नगर पंचायत मिलाकर कुल 10 निकायों में 4 मई को चुनाव होना है। बुढ़ाना नगर पंचायत ज़िले की सबसे बड़ी नगर पंचायत है। बुढ़ाना में 32940 वोटर हैं, जिनमें 17075 पुरुष और 15865 महिला मतदाता हैं। सरकार ने निकाय चुनाव के लिए आरक्षण की अंतिम सूची जारी कर दी है। नगर पंचायत बुढ़ाना को सामान्य वर्ग महिला की श्रेणी में रखा गया है। इस चुनाव में फिर महिला के सिर पर चेयरपर्सन का ताज सजेगा। मतदाताओं की संख्या के अनुसार क़स्बे में आधे से अधिक मुस्लिम मतदाता हैं। मुस्लिम बाहुल्य सीट पर भाजपा प्रत्याशी चार बार चुनाव जीत चुके हैं। चलचित्र अभियान की टीम ने नगर पालिका चुनाव को लेकर लोगो से बातचीत की। लोगों का कहना हैं कि जो काम करेगा। उसी को वोट करेंगे।
