00:11Indiana played last night.
00:13It's not a Hoosiers team we've talked a ton about.
00:15I was actually, Dave, thinking a little bit about that last night
00:19during the game.
00:21Because Dave and I and our production team,
00:23we try and get to every single team, every big team.
00:25I'm like, man, have we done a bad job not covering Indiana?
00:28And I said, no, they haven't done a bad job not.
00:30They've played North Texas, Howard, and Western Kentucky.
00:33We've mentioned it where we can, right?
00:35We've faded them in spots where it made sense,
00:37but we've done just fine.
00:39And then they stepped up for a Friday night game
00:41and they'd probably like to go back
00:43to not being discussed all that much.
00:4629-23 as three touchdown favorites.
00:50There were, I mean, this game was tied or nearly tied.
00:55They didn't get the two-point conversion,
00:56but it was a two-point game with two minutes to go here, Dave.
00:59I mean, this was not a great effort from the Hoosiers.
01:02No, and it was one of those situations
01:03where they're playing Northwestern, whatever,
01:06whatever's going to happen,
01:06and you're not really paying attention to it.
01:08You're going to go watch one of the, you know,
01:09the comic movies with your kids or whatever,
01:12whether it's Spider-Man or something else.
01:13And then you get an alert on your phone.
01:15That's a two-point game in the fourth quarter.
01:16You're like, whoa, I got to go watch this.
01:18So that's what it was last night.
01:19You know, Turbo Richard gets injured early,
01:21not a good sign for Indiana.
01:22But we've all talked about this before, you and I, on other shows.
01:26You got to have that close call on your way to a national championship.
01:30It happened last year.
01:31Last year, they had a couple of close calls against Iowa and Penn State.
01:34Remember the toe-tap game with the Penn State touchdown?
01:37Those things happen.
01:38Should they be in the same ballpark as Northwestern on a Friday night?
01:42No, that should have been a 30-point win.
01:44They got it done.
01:45They move on.
01:46We'll see what the health of their running back is.
01:47But they got two more road games coming up.
01:50I believe they play in Nebraska and Rutgers.
01:52That shouldn't be an issue.
01:53Then you got Ohio State and Michigan.
01:55So we're going to find out real quick.
01:57I can guarantee you, Kevin, we'll be talking about Indiana in two weeks
02:00when they play Ohio State and Michigan.
02:02And I want to, I will say, Signetti in his post-game on-field comments
02:07said something that I thought was fair, which was,
02:10everyone thinks Northwestern's terrible.
02:12I'm trying to tell people, like, they're a good football team, right?
02:15Basically saying, we'll look back on this game,
02:18and us only winning by six isn't going to look as bad as it does in the moment.
02:23I think that is absolutely, I think it's on the board, right?
02:27But I'm not just judging this on, hey, maybe Northwestern are good.
02:32People have said I've been hard on him.
02:34It's going to keep happening.
02:35Josh Hoover was not great in this football game.
02:39And last year, you had the Heisman Trophy winner, number one overall pick.
02:43So the question now, the standard now for Indiana is, can they repeat, right?
02:48There were people pumping Hoover's tires in a Heisman race.
02:51I don't see it.
